Look I’m sorry but you’re reading yaoi. There are thousands of mangas that share the same trope your talking about here and this manga isn’t bad and compared to others it is almost an angel. Yeah sure the start of this chapters smut wasn’t the best but you what he asked before he went all the way and the did what hye asked.
The real problem here isn’t the so called rape( which isn’t here in my opinion). You read yaoi where again has an overused trope of rape. saying "it's yaoi what do you expect" shuts down critical thinking. it's okay to read and ultimately enjoy yaoi, yet still be critical of it. i'm just a reader of yaoi that wishes rape themes to stop because it's just annoying and leads to an unstable relationship. but I still read this in hopes of an improvement but was ultimately left frustrated. i'm frustrated with the character for not realizing his mistake and I'm frustrated with the artist is they keep making no big deal of it and letting him get away with it.
