“He feels like he’s in my chest” yeah bro I think it’s because he is. Go to the hospital

You know I at least thought he walked in on Kazuma sleeping with his crush, but the guy just was friends with Noah who also went to these orgies? It wasn’t even like Kazuma and his group were coercing Noah into anything either, they just all hung out at the same spot. Is he for real about to hurt some innocent guy because a man who reminds him of an awkward college event has moved past that point in his life and is happy? It doesn’t get sadder than this man

A part of me wants to feel bad for Jaekyung and the decline of the gym, but like. Man did this to himself. This is literally just the consequences of his own actions. Every time he was volatile, condescending, or unnecessarily violent, he further guaranteed that there would be no other outcome. I hope he gets his character development from this

Look, people have made some unwise choices in this story, but this last stretch is kind of making me mad with how contrived it is. Like what was the brother’s plan here if Haru hadn’t bitten a human that he cared about? Haru didn’t bite her because of any plan that was orchestrated, he just kind of did it. Why did he bite her to begin with? Like yeah she was being harsh to his boyfriend, but I can’t be the only one who thought that it was super forced for him to bite her rather do literally anything else, like push her away or kick her out of the house right? A series of unnatural actions and lucky coincidences had to happen in order for the plot to get here, and that makes it feel badly written. Additionally, our boys have done dumb stuff in the past, like turn into humans when they knew there were security cameras around because they were banking on Habibi being too busy to check, but going to the rabbit kingdom with no plan after knowing what the place does to moon rabbits is next level stupid. Like thank goodness Neungso used his words to explain to Haru why he didn’t want him to go there, but again, I can’t be the only one who thinks it’s ridiculous that Haru feels comfortable going there because Neungso will protect him when Neungso is the one saying they shouldn’t go, right? And Neungso knows how widespread his brother’s support in the rabbit kingdom is, and he knows that in general theyre outnumbered like 50 to 1, so why does Haru believing in him even kind of make him feel like he can protect him there? He knows better than anyone that he has no support there, so why does Haru’s unfounded confidence change anything? I’m really hoping next chapter will reveal that they actually came up with some master plan to get Habibi treated and then bust out, but the look on Neungso’s face in this last panel was just so surprised that I’m concerned. Logically there’s no way he didn’t see this coming, but again, contrived and illogical choices have definitely been made in this story before

I think it makes sense he bites Habibi as he is a rabbit and it could have been is instinct acting. Neungso seems to have trouble talking with Habibi as she was drunk so he probably bite her, hoping that she would « snap » and calm down. And I think the brother probably would have kidnapped Haru considering how many people were with him.

But yeah, some of the characters actions are illogical

I think it’s really easy for a lot of us to say that Sohan should have turned his dad down with the script he had in his head, but I do get that he’s too kind and subconsciously a little attached to his father. It’s a shitty situation, and I think he also knows that the objectively correct course of action is to never see him again, but I think this moment of kindness being a weakness that will be objectively bad for him is a really human thing to happen. Hopefully this arc ends in him choosing his happiness and he can firmly set boundaries with his dad regardless of what that asshat says to him

You are so valid for this.

Yeah :( I've gone through it with my own father, this kind of pity exceeds logic. Sohan will get through this!!

Man, you know it’s bad because my immediate first thought was “oh damn, Jaekyung is going to physically injure Dan. Really badly.” They’re really setting Jaekyung up to do something truly awful (even more so than everything he’s already done)– he’s going to assault Kim Dan and believe the worst of him, even though Dan gave up on a chance to extend his GRANDMA’S LIFE and a much higher paying salary for this POS. Even if the rival coach was lying, Dan made an incredible sacrifice with the information he had, and Jaekyung is going to punish him severely for it. This manhwa is a torture porn

So…. The ML definitely bought the MC’s apartment and former workplace, right? And then he definitely rendered him homeless and jobless so that he could appear before the MC as his hero and make him completely dependent on him, right? He’s just so suspicious with his timing at that one panel, and he’s obviously not only rich but also obsessive… I feel like this is going to be a toxic ride XD

I started reading this randomly, and although it doesn’t say so in the description, this appears to be an adaptation of “After the Stand in Shou Faked his Death,” which I’ve been following for a long time. I’ve only read up to chapter 6 of this manhua, but holy crap the He Yang propaganda is insane. In the novel he’s way more cold towards the main character (in addition to always covering his eyes during sex, he constantly outright ignores the food Yu Chengyan makes for him, lets his friends degrade him, and refuses to tell Yu Chengyan that he likes him or even confirm that they’re in a romantic relationship. They’d been living together for five years before Yu Chengyan’s accident, but despite Yu Chengyan cooking for him, cleaning the house, picking He Yang up from the bar, and you know, regularly having sex with him for that entire time all while Yu Chengyan makes it very clear that he loves him, He Yang still shuts him down when he tries to officially affirm their relationship. Moreover, the early chapters don’t highlight how much He Yang really does seem to treat the main character as a substitute. In the novel, the main character is always being dressed in the glasses and clothing that Shen XiuZhu is known for, not just during the one party, and I think they end up justifying that retroactively, but it’s made so so clear that He Yang is sparing absolutely zero thoughts to Yu Chengyan’s actual likes and dislikes. It kind of feels like this manhua will end up being less satisfying down the line when He Yang finally gets his comeuppance, because now it’s not that he deserves the pain for taking Xu Chengyan for granted and choosing not to commit, but instead he’s just bad at showing emotions and he’s just been misunderstood this whole time

I want to try reading the novel. I like this manhwa bc ml wasn’t thaaaat bad I guess so in his redemption arc I was able to accept him (if that makes any sense) so I’m kinda curious about how I’ll feel about the novel

I swear this series is just two petty guys who constantly misunderstand each other by understanding each other perfectly
