Agree. Tho she's just too stupid so many people will cut her some slack. Like maids are supposed to be smart and do your jobs and evil deeds in the shadows and shit but she doesn't even see that her master's a different human now and I personally think she's here just for the fan service, like many characters in different animes...like who says that all people who play at casino are evil like wtf...at this point i just don't expect anything smart of her....

im pretty sure he is doing it for his and her safety, it was mentioned before that juvel is his weakness that emperor takes advantage of, so he was trying to show his love for her as little as possible to save her??? idk from what exactly tho ... i bet in the original novel after he heard that juvel died he became really depressed, maybe even killed himself

heres a theory before you hate on daddy, as you can see he really cares for ruvel but isn't very vocal but he didnt abandon her, but instead gave the sword to protect herself in the shadow room bc on the previous chapter, the duke said he "is waiting for the right time" to take down the emperor together with max- in the prolouge when ruvel was about to stab herself we can see that max tried to stop her bc of the duke (u know what will happen). so her death is caused by her own misunderstanding. BUT THIS IS JUST MY THEORY SO FAR BY READING THIS. I HAVENT READ THE RAWS BUT EVERYONE IS HATJNG ON DUKE AND IS NOT GIVING ATTENTION ON THE STORY LMAO STOP YAPPING. (1)

the thing i dislike about 'dad that has 0 communication skills' trope is that they think people can read their minds. even just reading the first chapter, how do you think she would know what to do with the knife with the words 'endure it' from the father who thought hated her. also he has the time to stage an entire mutiny but not enough time to explain to his daughter in private why he's being really rude? he's her only support system. also i love the story and the art. it's absolutely amazing. i've read all the recent chapters.

true true. i still think he could have done something. explain. communicate or something. thats a long time for the oc to go without anyone she could really really on. it's not the oc's fault for turning like that. she had no guidance at all, and what she did is redeemable.

i meant trauma lol, but now that i'm re-thinking it i feel like there isn't one way that a person deals with trauma so that was unfair on my end lol
