I responded to another comment but wanted to make my own cuz I’m so sad about this. I was reading and was thinking wow this is so refreshing. MC with glasses, interesting art style at times, ML who is super devoted from the get go?!?! Art style never seen again past the first chapter, THEY THROW AWAY THE GLASSES IN THE 17TH CHAPTER IN A OHHH WOW UR SO PRETTY WITHOUT THEM HOW DID WE NEVER KNOW!! And man still devoted but COME ON! Like is it so hard to ask for there not to be a stupid plot line like that? Anyways, it was interesting and fun characters till that but had to drop it since if they do that stupid trope what’s next would just make me more mad
Well then again the glasses have distortion magic so their "we never know" is adjusted. But I do agree that glasses and curly hair = ugly trope is too mainstream and bit lazy writing
