No, not really the most romance it’s had so far is a side character getting a little crush/getting embarrassed easily and blushing. He does get fans but I wouldn’t count it as romance.

As of chapter 149 there's no main romance as athe story focuses on an actual plot luckily. But after a hundred chapters there's room for interpretation.
I hope the author keeps it this way, cuz I'm not a fan of shoehorned romance.

to my knowledge, this is the original version which is censored / shouhen ai , but the yaoi version only has the second season which is “kings maker triple crown”
so this manga “kings maker” has all three seasons, censored. hope that helps?1!/
