To me it depends on the kind of amnesia. If it is shot term like this it’s easier to read but it’s the second ML in remarried empress then it’s a little crazy

Anime fan since 2002 1st Anime= Inuyasha (Grandma bought us a DVD of Inuyasha for Christmas, I remember being so shocked that they had "movies" on our manga. Super excited )
Yaoi fan since 2003 1st Yaoi= Desire by Kazumi Maki , Honami Yukine (Found it while browsing BORDERS bookstore)
