They both kinda have twisted tendencies and serious problems than I would label as "red flags" in other stories that would put me off
But somehow I find the two of them endearing and just wish they would be the happiest couple ever

I'm so far off that the lovey-dovey main couple just seems boring and repetitive at this point... (like lately all chapters just feels the same, they confess, declare their love, have passionate sex, and on loop again)
And in each chapter I'm only hoping to see some developments for the second toxic couple...

I'm not mad at you, tbh. I'm really annoyed at the author, though:
1. They set us up for a friends-to-lovers story via "let's have sex for practice," but that setup is very quickly dropped. And since they realized their feelings for each other, stuff seems to drag on and not really explore new things. I love their happiness, but as a narrative, it's very boring.
2. It feels really wrong to present us with a lovey-dovey healthy couple but then hype up a toxic couple in the background. And it's scary because nothing's changing; the seme still stalks and spies on the uke, doing illegal stuff, wanting to control him. It feels very deliberate on the author's part, like they wanted to do two series, but worried that one wouldn't be popular, so they put them both together.
We still have 5 chapters left, but this whole story could've been like 30 chapters. Even the issue with the (hot) problematic co-worker isn't really relevant aside from getting the guys to acknowledge their feelings for each other and making the main uke more confident; work pretty much hit the backburner despite this being a workplace romance. I wanted to check the socials for the author and artist, but the author doesn't have one and the artist's link says it doesn't exist, so I can't even see the status of this series.
