I'd advise that you wait until you're on your own and working steadily before letting them know about your situation. At that point, no matter what, at least you were honest with them and can move on with your life. So cheer up and don't feel so guilty.

I'm not good with advices but I'll try. Try not to think too deep about it. Don't let the family guilt trap you and most of all never blame yourself for what you are. If you think it's possible to share it with one of your family members (sibling or cousins) then try to do subtly overtime till you know they'll not freak once you tell them or someone who's broad minded in general. Having some one in the family to confide in will surely take off half the burden.
Maybe finding new interests will take your mind off it.
Stay positive and don't let any sort of guilt torture you because you don't deserve it.

I already thought about it to make it less difficult, but I feel that I would feel even worse because I know the reaction they would have.

I also feel very concerned at times...because I've got a feeling I'm aromatic asexual. I kinda told my mother (in a subtle way) but she didn't understand what I was saying XD but was kind enough to listen to it all. In my case it's not my parents whom I'm worried about, but the society. So it try to not think about it at all.
For me I feel that my family is my greatest blessing and I want to be with them as much as I can. (Living away from home isn't all that fancy ;_;) So, I'd say make most of your time with your family and when you're independent, carve out your own path.

Just hang in there. Wait until you are financially able to support yourself and be independent. By then you can choose on whether you tell your parents (if you think you can bear all the consequences) or just live away from home without your family really knowing everything about you. It is a difficult situation especially that you have religious parents.
