I really want to see more MCs like An Nuo. What i loved the most about him, is that despite being logical and rational, it didn't make him emotionless nor oblivious. When he started falling for Jing Ye, though confused at first, he didn't go into a denial stage that usual BL ukes and MCs tend to(which i'm so tired of). He ACTUALLY analyzed his own emotions and once he figured them out, he was more than open to expressing these emotions and entering the "love territory" with the ML. Seriously, where are these MCs? Is it my fault for mostly reading yaoi over shounen ai?(btw, idk why this is categorized as shounen ai, they clearly do it in the story, on screen too, so i'm like ??? not that i mind, i prefer it this way in fact, but yeah xd)

I also want to read more stories where the relationship between the main couple transitions so smoothly between strangers to lovers, where their relationship doesn't just start immedately off and continue with them being constantly distracted with how good looking the other is, but they stay focused on their own goals, while getting to know and slowly growing closer to eachother and then once they have grown closer they start being attracted to the other.

Anyway, if anyone has any recommendations after reading my comment, please do tell!

Amen to that. It's indeed difficult to find those. I may recommend you King's maker, fist season is gorgeous. Also Murder Llewellyn's enchanting dinner invitation, I know how it sounds hahaha but I suggest you to give it a try. An finally, only if you are into sweet and calm omegaverse, Exclusive no love zone.

Hi, thanks for the recommendations! I know of the first two, but not Exclusive no love zone. It seems interesting so i'll def will try reading it! Coincidentally, it was also like yesterday that i started reading Llewellyn's and i got up to the part where they finally get together, but i peaced out for now because drama was on the horizon again(at ch 30), I'll def get back to it eventually, but yeah xd For King's maker, i've seen it around and ppl saying it's good, but for some reason it doesn't pique my interest at all, i may check it out in the future tho, not sure xd

Happy to help! hahaha. Yeah, take your time. There is a plot twist that I've never imagine. Got me in tears ╥﹏╥. As for King's maker a may say that is not very common to find stories that focus on the problematic our MC and ML are living (talking about the situation of the kingdom) rather than love. But It's fine. It happened to me with some famous manhwas. If you have any recommendation for me, please, let me know ╥﹏╥

You should read Global Examination, it's extremely slow burn tho and heavy plot (there's A LOT) the novel was also great

Hi, thanks for the recommendation! I checked it out and i actually already had it in my want to read list hehe( ̄∇ ̄") Will read it for sure at one point! Also, since you read both the manhua and novel, may i ask how different the two is? Like, if i read the manhua first and want to pick up where i left off in the novel, would it be fine? Or there are enough differences that i'd be better off reading the novel from the start?

Well the novel is definitely more detailed than the manhua but if u read the manhua and continue in the novel that's fine too and it saves you more time! Depends on you which u wanna read but me personally I like the novel since the details and extra info helped me understand the story more but it's kinda long (⌒▽⌒)

Reading the summery ended up initially turning me away from the story, making me think it would just be one of those classic rapey slave bl stories. But then i read some of the comments and they made me want to give it a try. And boy, am i glad i did. Though the story seems like it might be going that way at the beginning, it ends up being something completely different. Absolutely loved every turning point in this story, great plot, even greater characters, easy 5/5.

Fun fact: Igen's name means "yes" in my native language, made me chuckle throughout the story when i read it. I pronounce it differently now so that it won't take me out of the story anymore tho xd
