This is one of the GOAT BL manhwas. In an ideal world, it would go on for about 100 chapters to resolve all their issues, and then there would be a sequel manhwa about them making it in Seoul.
NO amount of earth-shattering character rebuilding could overcome how vile the ML is. I truly don't care how hard his life was growing up. This shit is so grotesque and trauma-porny. Only satisfying way for this to end is if ML dies. Brutally. Horrifically. At the hands of the MC.
The only BL that did a decent job IMO in having a terrible ML actually change and earn his way back is with Waterside Night or whatever.
I think the author started doing hard drugs around chp 28 or so...
Or maybe they decided to go with the Riverdale route, making the story so incredibly ridiculous you just kinda have to see how it ends

I'm not even saying that inherently it's a weirdly paced chapter (well it IS) but especially compared to the author's own pacing of like the last 20 chapters with all this Derrick/Bruno nonsense, where it was so detailed and tense, literally how could you just be like "and then everything was fine the end"? That's literally what is happening here. Either some bottom line was not met (which, how, this BL is incredibly popular) or something is wrong with the author's health (a more understandable reason) but there's NO way something going on behind the scenes is not what's caused this rushed ending. Reading it is total whiplash.
