my theory is that the thing that happened between shuriel and kian is something sad and tragic that shuriel couldn't bear it. so she went to the witch for a wish (either to save kian, or maybe it's even related to kassel) so the wish was granted. the witch was known to take souls so maybe she took shuriel's but the classic love is so powerful thing happened that shuriel's soul instead exchanged with a random one from the modern world, thus the switch.
now, the witch is out to collect shuriel again (maybe she was weakened then, now she's regained strength)

SLAY THAT MIA OMFG. i get mia's point, but she could also add a "thank you." she's acting like perashati just pulled some bs solutions out of her ass but it's a THEORY. both of them have logical theories that can't be done with trial and error but perashati's WORKED, yes, it's lucky but it worked! mia's acting like she's the only one with answers is so fcking annoying! people like that slows the process of finding the right solution. PERASHATI MOTHERED THE SHT OUT OF HER.

LMAO idk what's abt this one, like i get the premise. it's very interesting and ig they're still running with it and it's not forgotten at all. the characters are all kind of well... not the best, sometimes stupid and trashy but i can't stop reading.
basically the fl's problem stems from her "bsf" being a narcissistic btch and an ml who unknowingly fed to that narcissism. lol, the ml getting rid of the "bsf" is just a teeny step up (he should've blatantly rejected the bsf and not kept her around so yeah im blaming him for the girl's full blown audacity)
in the novel, selina's maid (or was it her friend?) actually asked selina about her type (long hair or short hair) and lucas and aiden were close by. selina answered she prefer men with short hair.
after that, lucas decided he'd cut his hair short. (TДT)
personally, i also believe it's a mistranslation, and i understand why it's making many uncomfortable. if i may share my perspective, perhaps, the title would be less offending and many can read the story as though the translations are bad, the story is still interesting and quite promising so far.
"blackened" can serve as an adjective that gives clue to the ML's dark personality, like a "blackened heart" in a sense. and it's part of his character arc that he was a slave. plotwise, being a prince from a defeated kingdom, he would inevitably end up as a prisoner, commoner, or yes, a slave. pardon me for explaining what surely, many already understand, but by this understanding, i don't think there's some malicious racial intent.
and still, i could be wrong and i'm happy for discussions about how many feels about the title.

im sorry but stella's a smart girl. she SEES through the teacher's manipulation and her family too. she KNOWS she's being used. i can't really blame her for dismissing louise's help BUT THEN, as i've said, she ACKNOWLEDGES the fact that she's being used.
no reason for her at all to be distancing from louise. if she really wants to make it up to her (louise), she would've taken the initiative to step forward to louise and lower her pride to ask for help from her, which wouldn't only solve her problem, but could also mend the relationship with louise too.
