Btw, the king exploded and killed everyone who put his their hands on the Imae and beat him up. I mean, he was livid.
Yeaaaah he ended up with him. He lived with roanjilio for a while but he ended up sleep walking really bad every night for a very long time. The sleep walking would put him in dangerous situation and roanjilio got jealous and roanjilio asked him if he was even happy and the Imae said not really that he thought he would be but ultimately he wasn’t and he wanted to go back to his village so roanjilio let him leave and the king found out he went back to his moms house in the village and just continuously bombarded him with kindness and company and inevitably convinced the Imae to go back to his palace with him and the Imae picked up the hobby of painting and used the name the king had given him as his painting alias and lived with him after that.

Mukyeom gets obsessive over Hajoon and ends up accusing him of sleeping with a fellow colleague. The misunderstanding leads to really horrible angst between them. Instead of communicating at first, Hajoon tries using sex to get through to Mukyeon but it doesn’t work so then he confronts him completely and the two end up cutting ties (in a way). When Mukyeom realizes he was wrong, he’s completely devastated and wants to make it up to Hajoon, but Hajoon wants nothing to do with him. Even when Mukyeom realizes his feelings and confesses, Hajoon won’t budge. Mukyeom also turns out to be quite persistent and after a documentary that exposes Mukyeom’s abusive home life, Hajoon goes to visit Mukyeom which is the turning point/reconciliation moment in their relationship.
They end up dating and Mukyeom takes Hajoon back home to London with him.

It’s really interesting when you read the novel, because even though Mukyeom is callous towards anyone who wants to date him, he’s always making exceptions for Hajoon and doing things that only a person who really likes someone would do. But he kept denying it for the longest time until he realized he was going to lose Hajoon.
