I'm not a novel reader so it's only a theory but I think the bad guy is the white haired doctor who first told J about Sayoung being experimented on.
He's in the middle of everything as he is in charge of the dungeon anomalies but he also seem to know a lot about prometheus and the experiments, I also don't think that there are that many people that knows about Sayoung and for now we didn't really see that doctor interact with other people (he didn't even go to the weapons event and he gave the ticket to J for whatever reason because he barely knew him).
Just a theory for now so if someone's reading the novel is seeing this, please tell me everything you know cause I don't mind spoilers and I need to know.
SPOILER!!! I thought that too at the beginning but after reading the novel i guess he’s truly just trying to find a cure for the apocalypse and help end it fr, and happens to know a lot about the Prometheus experiments cuz of LSY . He just too socially deprived to look normal and likes to mess with people that give him a hard time (like J lol). He kinda gives the mother hen vibes yk.
And he's the one who will work himself bone dry to resolve certain things that the rift and dungeon erosions will unleash into the world.

I don't mind the omegaverse but why are all sides stories these days omegaverse ? Like okay it's cute and everything but I'm getting tired of the sides stories being always the same things in different fonts. I didn't particularly care for the other couple but we could've seen them a little bit or even our main couple just leaving their life together, going on vacation, managing work and life, what about the sharehouse future (since everyone are becoming couple so they might want to have their own place and live just between them)... so many things to explore and they just gives us yet again an omegaverse (i still want to say that I don't mind omegaverse but too much is too much)
That story is weirdly paced, like everything seems out of order...
Also they already kissed at the beginning when brown hair was drunk and he slept at black haired guy house so I don't really get why he thinks he doesn't like guys or why it's not brought up ever again.
I kinda want to stop reading this but I already put too much time in it so I'll read it but it's so messy it makes it hard to read. I'm currently at chapter 37 so only ten more and I'll see if I wait for update but I feel like it's going to be forgotten pretty quickly

Oh I 100% read it as a shackel too, like him keeping her tied down. So idk if he is a bright red flag yet, real world yeah but webtoon world idk

Yeah I get that but realistically I know i would think of slashing the guy first especially when you now how hard it is to actually cut your hair with a knife (thanks to the Mulan debunked sword cut hair video from like 10 years ago )
The transitions between chapter is so bad with this story... I have to go back to the last chapter every times because it feels like we're missing bits and pieces, like today for example : the opening is him being thrown under the shower but the end of last chapter is him on his way to ML room. It's not the first time it happened and it's kinda annoying (/--)/
Bro just connect the dots. It’s not that hard to put two and two together with the start of the chapters
You're right it's not hard but when every time you're reading something you have to go back to get the context it's annoying.
And since the story is pretty repetitive you can get lost pretty easily when they make a jump like this for no reasons.
Maybe you don't care and it doesn't take away the experience for you but it does for me.
