I just finished the story and didn't know that Javi is the male lead in the novel. I'm lowkey glad it didn't go in that route, I saw him like a younger brother of the FL and it's kinda weird (in my opinion) for him to be with her because he's like an actual child (mentality wise) when they met.
I love that Lucas became the endgame. He's there with the FL the whole time, supporting her, and didn't actually really care that much with money lol (in the present). I'm just really really happy gawd.
