I'm sorry but that was a stupid ending for a stupid side story that shouldn't have even happened and literally made no sense. I think the author just wanted to tell an entirely different story while using popular characters instead of just making it its own thing. This comic literally ended perfectly but was unceremoniously ripped from it's grave for this.
This may be the actual best plot twist I've ever seen in a bl comic because we knew SOMETHING weird and possibly supernatural was happening but this exceeds expectations by so much that it feels legit cinematic wow

Ohhh that's also what I thought... it's giving Jinx I mean, it's probably because often times some authors copy other authors especially when one work is so popular... they just tend to twist and apply their own creativity there to make it an original concept of theirs.
I mean, the idea of a boxer male lead isn’t that ground breaking. This is apparently based off a novel too so I don’t think it’s copying Jinx. Especially since the bottom doesn’t seem like the bottom from Jinx at all either. Not to mention, the bottom is the rich one and the top is the one with money troubles. Money troubles turning to sex also isn’t really that groundbreaking for bl lol. I don’t think it’s a copy of jinx at least from the summary and images I gleaned.

Seogeum wasn't trying to manipulate tae in he did cut himself but it's only to make tae in remember him as a psycho and leave a stain in his life. Tae in loved this crazy devotion from Seogeum because it's not manipulation
Doing something drastic to intentionally leave a mark on someone is manipulation. You are manipulating the way they see and feel about you. Just because tae in ended up falling for him doesn't make it any less manipulative, it just makes tae in equally insane in a different way. It is absolutely psychotic behaviour to mutilate yourself in someone else's house for any reason.

It's true that seogeum's behavior is psychotic but he could've easily manipulated tae in by crying his eyes out and begging tae in to take him back or give tae in his full consent to wreck his body as much as tae in likes but he didn't because he believes tae in really broke up with him so he chose to mutilate himself since it's the only way tae in will not forget him that's how twisted seogeum is for tae in.
Giving it a long-winded explanation doesn't change the fact that it is manipulation. Just because it doesn't look the same as what you think of when you hear that word doesn't mean it isn't.

I think that standard “of not being able to look at their eyes again” should apply to both gender/ parents. Men have done this since the dawn of time, and when a women does this it becomes immoral all of sudden.
It would apply to both parents, but this comic only refers to the mother so that's what I also referred to. It's not that deep I promise.
But to be specific it's also a lot harder for a dad to not know the mother of his child if he has custody, than it is for a mom to not know who the father of her child is if they sleep around a lot. The man at the very least would know who birthed his kid, not that it would make him much better if he continued to whore around as a father like the mom did. Either way it's my personal opinion, I'm not out here telling people what to do
No, I get that it’s your personal opinion. And you are entitled to it, I’m not saying you’re not. But your whole argument is relying on that fact that if the dad has custody he would know who birth his child. I really hope you’re aware that many men who whore around, don’t know if they have a child out in the world or perhaps they denied that idea of that. A simple blood test could prove who the parents are for both men and women who whore around and have kids. My personal opinion is that the standard of whoring around should apply to both men and woman! Regardless of if they have a kids or not.
