I love Tristan for how realistic he is, not every straight man is gonna jump the gun to get intimate with the same sex bc it's supposed to be BL.

Well i don't think it is unrealistic to think a straight man having penetration with another man is possible, not saying jump to it but after some deliveration it can be posible, taking into account the person who is begging for help is gonna end up disabled for life. At the end of the day in this universe, it does feel like a responsability because he literally is the only who can save him from that fate. He did take care of his body, washed him, fed him and stopped when Eden fell unconscious too. He followed Eden's request and the contract.

Eden isn't punishing himself, he needs as much physical contact and exchange of fluids as possible, 24/7. If this story isn't to your liking, I'd just stop.

I think this story is too mature for you? Maybe go read some lighthearted slice of life.

Think of it this way. A complete stranger with kidney failure comes up to you and ask you to donate one of your kidneys to them bc you're a match. You can save their lives by donating one of your kidneys. The right thing to do is to donate one of your kidney's right? Keep in mind, while you won't die with only one kidney left, you will face complication for the rest of your life. That is essentially what Eden is asking Tristan to do. Name imprint is a life long commitment. Sleeping only once is not enough. If Tristan ever stops having sex with Eden, Eden's illness will relapse.

As someone that read the novel, here is a spoiler for you:


Tristan is suicidal. Or it is heavily implied he is suicidal. If Eden didn't come into his life like he did, Tristan would've offed himself. What attracted Tristan to Eden is Eden's desperate will to live. The reason why Tristan changed his mind and decided to sleep with Eden is becomes Eden threatened to rape Tristan for his cum. That made Tristan realize Eden is willing to do whatever it takes to live, the complete opposite of him. So the painful sex and Tristan constantly asking Eden to give up is not only treatment for Eden but Tristan trying to gauge just how far Eden is willing to go.

Another spoiler, later in the story, Tristan is only willing to continue living because of Eden. When Eden got delayed because of a snowstorm and is later hospitalized, Tristan almost drives down the mountain and into the snowstorm for Eden. It was almost certain death bc of the icy and windy roads. His staff tries to stop him, but he knocks them all down and gets in the car, ready to go. It is only when one of his staff yells, "If you die, Eden dies too!" bc without Tristan's constant bodily contact and fluid, Eden's sickness will relapse. That immediately calms Tristan down. He gets out of the car and anxiously waits for Eden's call.

Ending spoiler: When Eden finally removes Tristan's name from his body and frees himself from the name imprint constraint, the two break up and Tristan almost immediately goes back off grid. No one know where Tristan went, and if he's alive or dead.

Each of us have the right of having our own opinion and that's it. I do still like the story and wil continue folowing i just don't like one of the charqcters. Well i have to say you guys are right...sorry i just don't have the energy to argue and it's better to chill. I did started my argument on the wrong way, anyway it's fiction so whatever we think doesn't apply to reality, i do tend to have opinions about fiction i won't have in reality at all. For example i love reading toxicity and enjoy it in bls but in real life i would call the police if i witnessed anything like this kind of stories portray so yeah haha

Bro cant handle real characters

100%agree with you. They have not, in the 118 chapters developed these 2 characters as a couple. I wanna drop but I'm trying to hang in there. There's od no communication between these two. It's frustrating because as you said riftan is working his butt of.to give maxi everything she wants buts all he gets in return is her foin something stupid without talking to him. Like he she jus told him about her upbringing, her worries, and doubts alot of things would make since for him and they could develop together.

The fact that these men are soldiers and have been fighting these creatures for years and are pros and have a hard time, she waltz around acting like this is a game while sneaking around and putting herself and others in danger.

She is an amateur mage and doesn't have the street smarts to even be in battle. I think the princess being a soldier really left an impression on her that she thinks she can automatically do it too.

She's very naive and I want her to win but between her being a damsel and a head of her house as it's mistress or sneaking into battle, I'd choose her being a damsel.

This story is very stressful and I'm with you on the romance not being what it needs to be.

Just want to give you insite we go into a lot of details as to why Riftan is I love with maxi how they met and riftans childhood leading to him becoming a knight in the novel and the author actually goes into detail about fight and world building but the manwha does not dwell on it as much

Yes! I agree. Sort of spoiler ish ahead. Maxi feels that her duty is to only serve her husband in bed and do light duties, whatever that is, where as riftan does all of the difficult shit. She feel like she is an object and is useless to riftan which is why she decided to go be a mage. She enjoys it and she feels like she can help riftan, which riftan won't like. Riftan don't know how to communicate due to his upbringing. He's use to handling everything on his own and doesn't want Maxi to feel burden about it bc he 'took her away from a good place to his place'. You will continue to see that riftan will continously shut Maxi down. That is the main first step they will overcome as a couple. This issue will remain until a bit after maxi's return. Yes, she shouldn't have gotten to this war but I assure you, it's it's good thing she did got involved.... even tho she sacrificed so much. We also gotta consider tthat in this is a different time era that involves monsters and magic. The people were desperate for helpers and she managed to sneak in bc who sneak into war? Plus, unfortunately for Maxi, she has to start somewhere to get the experience. This experience will help her later. The manhwa don't really do well sometimes but the novel did better . And she won't tell riftan anything bc her shitty father pounded the idea that she is useless and no one wants her if they find out how useless she is, which she ain't useless. But trust, when riftan finds out, ITS GONNA BE AMAZING.

Totally agree! Maxi needs to most definitely go to her fiefdom and take care of the land that she and her husband attends to. She's being neglectful and immature. She is most likely going to put herself into a tough situation and make riftan have to bail her out due to her naivete.

You can say you adore your significant other but adore just means you love and respect someone wholly. So yes, it can be in a romantic sense but not always. In this case I think the secretary does have romantic feelings for Jian but maybe his respect is holding him back? Or maybe he adores him too much to go further? Exactly! at the beggining of the story i was literally gaslighting myself wanting to believe he truly loved him... but come on! He isolated him and let his mental health deteriorate, not wanting him to truly explore life and what he wanted... then they reencounter and instead of hellou how have you been, what happened, why you left the house, did you try to contact me etc even if he left him, if he loved him he would be happy to see him and if he was living alright, he is just thinking of revenge and banging him... he only likes his appearence! he never cared to find out how important was dancing for sasya and how traumatic it was he was assaulted in the past for pursuing dancing and at the same time how healing it has been now to be able to dance... this dude hasn't even asked for his family?!? They died in the war... he had nobody except julian my godness... karel is sad that sasya wasn't waiting for him in his bird cage! The more i think about it the more mad i get
