I say the pacing is great, i like how they well paced the conflict and presented it from the very start while slowly feeding us the uke's past, the flashbacks are seamless(?) and quick its just a way to provide additional context, i appreciate that...
About the characters,
I think the uke is well written as of now, i think his actions are warranted like the reason why he didn't tried to expose the staff bcs he got ignored in the beginning so whats the point anymore, plus this dude is depressed so, i understand heavily... I think i really like him...
The seme is almost unbearable, the silver lining that i can get from this character is he is stupid and incompetent, he might be business savvy but he's pathetic in any way outside of that which i guess we don't get that a lot from alpha semes bcs yes he is one of the problem but the readers' anger is not focused on him bcs he is not the main problem/antagonist, he's just incompetent and ignorant... And i appreciate that..
I like that the main antagonist rn are the servants, but its sad that most of them are in the background and they are being carried by the butler... I actually hates the butler but he feels one dimensional??? Idk i just hate him bcs he's creepy...
I actually enjoy reading this just bcs of the uke being depressed and all lol i mostly wanna know about him alone and i think hes the most interesting character in the story which means so little btw lol
I went in on this thinking its comedy (idk why)... Then i read the "he was my first love" at the end of chapter 1 and i audibly gasp lmao... I hate the seme at first and i also thought that its gonna be homophobic to gay trope but he was contradicting himself and the pacing was too fast in the first few chapters that it felt like a rollercoaster... my emotions can't keep up in the first few chapters bcs i was like, "i hate him, its giving red flag but then hes gonna do small attractive things that contradicts his initial character but it's so small that it doesnt override the initial impression, you just notice it... And all this happened in like 3 chapters, its so fast lol"
I like it. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
That phrase "take pyo guwon alive" threw me off bcs i thought they want him dead but its implying they want him to switch sides which doesnt makes sense bcs guwon is the leader but you can argue that guwon can be easily persuaded by teach and the hounds are holding him back or something, like the hounds can bite back.... Hmmm very interesting

Im not gonna lie... I think the seme has issues too.... It may not be the same level as the uke but im not gonna be surprised if he end up forgiving the uke... I think the uke is also pulling the seme into his orbit and i feel like they are going down together atp... I feel like they are too obsessed with each other... And the best outcome to this is for the seme to know about it and not address it... Like its gonna be the ghost between them, like the elephant in the room at the end.... Its not fully wrapped up ending but some endings are better with that type if loose end...some stories doesn't need a tightknit ending..
“I think the seme has issues too” it took you 44 chapters to realize that?
Hmmm have you considered that i commented on this after spending a couple of hours reading all the chapters? Have you considered that i might've commented this after seeing people's comments that the seme will take the moral high ground?? Have you considered that i used that phrase lacking in confidence to soften my opinion about the character??
You dont have to be condescending about it and watch you mouth, okay?
