I've been consecutively bookmarking chapters because its genuinely interesting but not I can't even tell the difference between a mid chapter and a chapter I really want to read, this is just PEAK I'm so glad I took the chance to read this
It's been almost 2 years i think since i last read this, can anyone explain to me his actual feelings and former relationship with the women they help captive which i think is the sister of his teacher, I can't reread it yet lol so I just need assurance that he did not harbor unfaithful or lingering feelings towards her. I guess it can't be helped if they did have a past, so long as it does not interfere with his present relationship
I think their relationship was more complex than a "he got played" situation , maybe at some point she felt something too, because he did question what he was to her, even though it was all in the past he was still thinking about it so there's definitely some unanswered questions and feelings left behind, he wouldn't have questioned it had he not cared at all, since he already has Altair.
And honestly ch.93 was a conflicting chapter for me because that is when he questioned his importance to her, but in the same chapter, he stated that he would choose Altair again and again. So now I'm curious about his feelings, and I actually like the complexity of the relationships in this story, I just don't happen to be a fan of y'know past relationships, loose ends and shi because it makes me anxious loll
Not something to see in black&white, he can definitely love Altair wholeheartedly while still figuring out what to make out of his past, which is why I'm more curious lolol

Okay some people can be so annoying, constantly complaining to "bring back the second couple!", they're the lead couple for a reason, not the main, of course we love the couple but would it kill you to wait and read a couple of chapters about the main couple again? As seen in the past chapter, seojoon once again' became unsure and insecure when he saw how Joo-an helped his childhood friend who is also his first love(but we all know that's in the past now) and I think that situation is going to be one of the reasons they will finally get together; conflict starts, Seojoon will start withdrawi again, Joo-an will pursue him, realize his own feelings, give him reassurance that he no longer likes his friend, and then they get together. So PLEASE for the love of all things good, wait for them.
"Living for your sake.....even when you're not here is how I express my love" THIS line, and even the small details, him explaining how he'll handle everything

This is straight up emotional torture, showing us promising characters only to kill them off. I'm not one to mourn character deaths much but here it is just a feeling that's hard to avoid, first were the two boys in floor 5, then party 2 members, party 3, lyrini hit me hard too, the rest as well, but Iolka was probably one of my last straws, bro my heart quite literally tightened and it was one of the few moments you see Han lose composure over the death of a companion(No, I do not support the implied growing r*m*nc* between the two, but I mourn her still) I expected so much from her, her growth, I wanted to see her do the impossible—master more than one element, or even all of them, I already envisioned that BUT the author decides to kill her off so easilyit's so fuxking unfair like what was going on inside their head?? She had so much potential, but then I guess, just goes to show how short life is especially when climbing the towers, but it doesn't help with the pain, the author truly makes bad decisions cuz fym even a hint of romance annoyed the shi out of me because why put that out there if you have no intention of actually developing it, urgh I hatee it when they do this, please do not add even a hint of romance if you wont develop it so we can actually enjoy enjoy the plot and the action, they hinted so many love interests including Jenna, the princess, Iolka, and maybe even others, but its so poorly done. Anyways I'm just gonna try to push through and see if I won't drop it because it was very promising at first, until it wasn't it was idk starting to get boring at some point but the action is too good I can't stop just yet.

Someone pick me up, this was one of the heaviest arcs I've read, I fear I need to take a break after this...
I mean... That's a big component of this story specifically. I usually hate seeing characters dies, but this story is an exception to me. It would lose all meaning without gut wrenching moments. The tension never stops, and the author is making awesome decisions to keep the flame alive. Even recent chapters made me pissed, in a way I never thought possible, but that's the core of the story.
It def keeps you in fight or flight mode, I think my stress and anxiety levels were through the roof while reading this
