I've been consecutively bookmarking chapters because its genuinely interesting but not I can't even tell the difference between a mid chapter and a chapter I really want to read, this is just PEAK I'm so glad I took the chance to read this
ever since the want to read and reading lists got reset I've been mourning the things I couldn't read, and I can't even remember what their names are, and today is one of those days where I remembered a story but not can't think of a name closest to the title.
Someone please help me find it, so it's a manga, probably categorized as shoujo(?) idk The ML had glasses, I think the FML was blonde, the one part I remember from snippets was that his family was against their relationship, and he's kind of extreme I think one time he came in to a room like a freaking spy in a movie entrance with ropes n all, that's all I remember Ik its not even the main plot of the story so it's really hard to pinpoint but I can't even remember what it was about cuz I never started it
You can never really please everyone, can you? People are so difficult, they'd always rather choose the latter in all matters.
For example : "2nd lead syndrome" I could never understand this, when the leads have good chemistry and sometimes are already in a relationship they will NEVER shut up about having 2nd lead syndrome. Like the situation is already enjoyable why would you want that Sometimes I feel like if the MC and 2nd lead switch places, they would choose the 2nd lead JUST BECAUSE they're the 2nd lead. Like do they want the MC to cheat or what There will always be people who want the MC to end up with the 2nd lead(Love Jinx, OTL, and almost every fucking story ever). I've dropped quite a few stories because of comments like that
Another example is people constantly complaining about liking the 2nd couple better than the main couple, but when the 2nd couple gets more exposure suddenly they want the main couple back(19 days, honey bear, etc.) Like I want to see people talking about the chapters but instead you're spammed with annoying parrots who want to see the 2nd couple why can't we enjoy the stories for what it actually is and not JUST for who is in it.
I just needed to let this out other people's comments affect me too much when it comes to reading, it either makes me drop it or love it. Sometimes I wonder why they keep saying these, are they just trying to be different or what, it pmo.
Its pretty simple, everyone who reads have different opinion abt same story id we all thought the same thing we wont be humans. I dont ubderstand why that bothers you
I'm sorry I should've emphasized that these things truly bother me when it's the only thing people talk about in a chapter, when you want to see a discussion on what people thought about it, something with more substance I guess. Because I think it's kind of shallow when it becomes repetitive, especially since it seems like they're just focusing on the labels(like I mentioned in the topic that even if places were switched they'd still choose that option simply because of the label) but I completely agree that our differences are what makes us humans! And I love to read and ponder on different opinions in the comments (like ours for instance lol)
And I actually realized that this shouldn't bother me as much because at the end of the day, it is just a comment and it is just a story, tho I think it's still fine if I get slightly annoyed lol, thank you for your response!

This is straight up emotional torture, showing us promising characters only to kill them off. I'm not one to mourn character deaths much but here it is just a feeling that's hard to avoid, first were the two boys in floor 5, then party 2 members, party 3, lyrini hit me hard too, the rest as well, but Iolka was probably one of my last straws, bro my heart quite literally tightened and it was one of the few moments you see Han lose composure over the death of a companion(No, I do not support the implied growing r*m*nc* between the two, but I mourn her still) I expected so much from her, her growth, I wanted to see her do the impossible—master more than one element, or even all of them, I already envisioned that BUT the author decides to kill her off so easilyit's so fuxking unfair like what was going on inside their head?? She had so much potential, but then I guess, just goes to show how short life is especially when climbing the towers, but it doesn't help with the pain, the author truly makes bad decisions cuz fym even a hint of romance annoyed the shi out of me because why put that out there if you have no intention of actually developing it, urgh I hatee it when they do this, please do not add even a hint of romance if you wont develop it so we can actually enjoy enjoy the plot and the action, they hinted so many love interests including Jenna, the princess, Iolka, and maybe even others, but its so poorly done. Anyways I'm just gonna try to push through and see if I won't drop it because it was very promising at first, until it wasn't it was idk starting to get boring at some point but the action is too good I can't stop just yet.

Someone pick me up, this was one of the heaviest arcs I've read, I fear I need to take a break after this...
I mean... That's a big component of this story specifically. I usually hate seeing characters dies, but this story is an exception to me. It would lose all meaning without gut wrenching moments. The tension never stops, and the author is making awesome decisions to keep the flame alive. Even recent chapters made me pissed, in a way I never thought possible, but that's the core of the story.
It def keeps you in fight or flight mode, I think my stress and anxiety levels were through the roof while reading this
