Also, you might have subscribed to manga on your 'completed' so when they get officials uploaded, that might be why you're getting notifications. You only get notifications from works on 'reading' and 'completed'
But you say they are no longer in there so I'm confused?
Otherwise, I heard of someone who experienced the same thing, getting random notifications from works or something
