I agree w a lot of ppl here? As horrible as I know it would be to force a bond on someone, I end up feeling bad for the alpha at the end of the story and honestly throughout as well… like being used for only breeding? & then being a house husband (no matter how fulfilling he seems to find it), having ur husbands coworker accuse u of trying to stifle his talent (ironic given he’s the one always at home?? Would be different if the alpha had any actual power over the omega besides secondary gender? But it seems in every other way he’s outclassed. Also that’s never addressed and the actor never apologizes for misunderstanding? Lmao). The relationship feels so unbalanced… the alpha definitely likes the omega more than the omega likes him. & then they make up and the first thing the omega tells the alpha is to make him shrimp fried rice lol… while ig im glad that the forced bonding attempt was given weight, it doesn’t seem like that was the root cause of the dysfunction? Like the omega needed to do something for the alpha, something beyond just letting go of his pride long enough to say “I love you” (pretty low bar lol). I wish they gave the alpha a job or something to be fulfilled w beyond just raising the kid as a sort of proxy for loving the omega (since it’s explicitly said that the omega loves the child more and therefore the alpha will take care of the child… obviously the alpha already loved his child, but the implication isn’t amazing). Like what kind of life is that in the end, honestly?

This is such a strange BL lmao… ostensibly abt some pretty dark topics like cannibalism (the main conflict is the mc is worried the ml will eat him) but also the mood of the story doesn’t seem to quite match? There’s that whole subplot abt the coworker who discovers there’s this secret family/society of cannibals, but then he gets converted and turned into a sex slave LOL??? idk even know what to make of that

That isn’t to say that you can’t handle dark subject matters lightly/comedically, and there r a lot of BLs that do that successfully, but this one in particular I thought wasn’t entirely successful/the impression ur left w is a bit strange & off-kilter. It’s not bad per se but certainly more of an odd curiosity rather than a serious story lol. Not sure exactly what I was expecting here …
