I think they are both having internal struggles with the prophecy. And I bet there is a time-line of when the prophecy has to be complete that is approaching that is making them both more anxious than usual.
Also they are just meeting back up after however many days uke was missing.
This all could have been solved if Yeon had said I Love You when Yeomin questioned him on why he did all of that stuff. Genuinely believe if when Yeomin said he wanted to give him a chance to explain himself, he could have professed his love and Yeomin would have forgiven him
