It can be danmei, manhwa or k novel with themes of regression or reincarnation. Right now i can't decide between erha or ballad of sword and wine so if anyone can tell me which one i should read would help aswell

Erha is pretty dark , it couldn't be more different than svsss , the only recurring theme b/w them is shizunxdisciple .
Ballad of sword and wine is more...plot focused , more political, with romance as a subplot.

I remember reading erha and dropping it in the middle around 5 years ago I think i read till the portion of the shizun dying and moran going to retrieve his soul? Or something like that. I know what happens and like the gist of it but i cant push myself to reread it for some reason

Like i said , its more of a background component than the main theme , if you can wreck your brain with heavy political intrigue and military warfare, then go for it , their relationship is beautiful but not the main forcus. If u want a heavy read then i def recommend this ,but its not fun and silly like svsss.

Oh i get it it's really not for everyone and u don't have to force urself to like it , there are so many other stories u can get into. Tho i will suggest giving it a chance cause the plot develops beautifully.
