For what I remember from the novel is that, something happens and Xhin Liu is able to break in, and Tae and his brother get into a helicopter with Xhin Liu, because Xhin Liu was going to tell Tae about the ghichale something,( sorry I don't know how to spell that word) , at the same time that this is happening, Ilay breaks in on his bike and sees that Tae is leaving, and he calls him to go with him, but Tae decides to leave with XL, so you can imagine the treason that Ilay felt...
After that XL tells T about the gichasomething, but T wants to go back with Ilay and if XL needs to take revenge from Ilay he can remove one of T's eyes. Then the shit happens
