Probably alone on this one, but I kind of want tentacle guy to get reamed instead. I'm too fucking old for this type of shitty rape-centric story. I've given this much more of a chance than it deserved out of hope that the plot/universe would be expanded upon & become interesting - which it has to a small extent - but the non-stop assault & braindead MC that is essentially naught more than a semi-sentient hole that exists to be violated by anything & everything remotely phallic is just too much for me to continue. I tend to like dark themes, but this isn't even that - literally just the absolute barest hint of plot to frame an endless string of scenarios in which the MC gets assaulted. The author should probably just have aimed for churning out MRM-type slop porn rather than attempting an actual serialization. Also, can we talk about the very unsettling/creepy vibe of showing the kid sleeping right next to the MC while he's being raped??? Bleh. I actually removed my rating from this one (though it deserves less than one star) just to spare myself from seeing it in my notifications ever again. Garbage.

Went back & re-read to confirm that the key Brett gave Hayden wasn't for a car, but the key to Hayden's apartment - he was returning it to him while ending things.

Also, I know Brett is seen as very cold/composed/cunning, and he definitely is, but I pity him a lot. He seemed really... on the cusp of loosing his grip on himself this chapter. He might not be crying or losing his composure in an obvious way, but there were a few panels where he looked so sad (especially when Hayden hugged him & when he handed the key over). He's likely handling everything by telling himself that it's unimportant & that he's fine, but is being forced to realize that it's *not* unimportant & that it's *not* fine via Hayden's reaction to learning about everything.

From what we've seen of his childhood & how he was raised, he keeps his cards close to his chest. That's all he knows & is his self-preservation. He tried to be open & honest with Hayden at his request by telling him everything, but it backfired on him. Brett showed who he is to Hayden only for Hayden to react poorly, so he closed himself back off. I feel bad for Hayden, of course, but my heart breaks for Brett. He might be outwardly dealing with everything with cool detachment, but he's been through so much. Now he's given up what was likely his one "happy place" by cutting ties with Hayden.

Ok, egg shittery aside, can this author stop making me want to see Dyne fuck Koichi?? I know it's not going to happen, so stop teasing me with the hinted one-sided attraction ヽ(`Д´)ﾉ

Also, probably in a very small minority here, but I don't find the whole Dyne x Rail thing appealing. Not sure why, but they just don't do it for me (probably because I don't think Rail is particularly attractive). I find their sex scenes almost as tedious as the whole egg situation & mostly end up just scrolling through them as fast as possible ╮(￣▽￣)╭

I noticed a tiny detail when rereading Chapter 29 (you can find the Korean chapter here on Lezhin -> https://www.lezhin.com/ko/comic/paintings ) that may or may not be of interest to others!

Just a brief summary for those who haven't read any spoilers yet: NaKyum runs into InHun - it seems they left the house separately after all - and starts begging him to run away with him, telling him that they're both in danger. InHun guides NaKyum to an empty alley to talk in private. After he hugs NaKyum to comfort/calm him, InHun basically tells NaKyum to butch up and paint for SeungHo, even if he's uncomfortable since he promised to help him (InHun, getting dirt on Seungho). NaKyum reluctantly follows him back.

There's a point when InHun is telling NaKyum to butch up and paint when he mentions that NaKyum is probably just uncomfortable & overreacting because Seungho made him watch perverted things, and comments something along the lines of, "It's not like he's doing anything to you... right?" What I noticed is that, while he's saying that line, it shows a zoomed in shot of him holding NaKyum by the shoulders/arms. There's a *super* faint, but seemingly deliberate, red mark visible on NaKyum's neck; a hickey. It then cuts to a close up of InHun's eyes as he's looking down at NaKyum, then shows his hand as he lets go of NaKyum. There's a pause in his sentence during these shots, noted with ellipses, before it shows InHun's face as he says, "right?" while wearing a super creepy expression. The second to last panel of the chapter shows NaKyum in profile, and the hickey is much more visible.

I find this detail interesting because, to me, *this* seems like the moment when InHun connects all of the dots. I don't think he actually knew Seungho had gotten physical with NaKyum yet until he noticed that hickey, and then you can see the gears start turning in his head as he realizes that he's finally gotten the dirt he wanted on Seungho. That side-eyed look he gives NaKyum as they're leaving is like he's knowingly leading a sheep to slaughter. No empathy whatsoever despite having realized exactly why NaKyum is desperate to escape.

One extra note: I keep seeing people call InHun a pedophile, and I think it's because no one's bothered to translate the first portion of the chapter in favor of focusing on his & NaKyum's interactions. Using my shitty camera translation app, I gathered that he's trying to get the man he's talking with to help him get more info on/spread rumors about Seungho (hard to tell exactly which with the app). My point is, he's not making creepy faces because he's leering sexually at the kid on his lap that he's presumably teaching. He's making creepy faces because he's conniving & planning to get his revenge against Seungho. He's a piece of shit, but I don't think the story's heading in that direction...
