The premise of the story is great, and the art is fab, and the dynamics between Jonak and Adain is so precious. Really like how they converse with each other.

But there’s just one thing that’s bothering me: what triggered Adain to sleep separately from Jonak, and for a very long time at that. What’s with his reaction when Jonak was discussing the thing he saw about the priest? And then later on, we saw him having a dream that he laid with the young Jonak. This part really doesn’t make sense to me.

Overall though, it was a great read.

May this love tackle me with gusto, Lord.

I kind of hope they don’t end up together. That way, the author gets exactly what they were aiming for—a story that leaves a lasting impression. Cause why would you revive a really good wholesome story only to throw away some angst, right?

At this point, I don’t really want them to be together anymore. Whatever the reason behind Haebom’s behavior—whether it’s influenced by someone else or not—I don’t think it can justify the pain and trauma he caused Taesung. I’d rather see Taesung walk away from the relationship. Whatever they’re doing to each other only hurts them. It’s no longer worth holding on to someone [Haebom] who chooses to run away instead of facing things together with you—this should’ve been the ideal setup, and isolation is not the answer.

And honestly, if they don’t end up together, it makes the story feel more real. Sometimes, love just isn’t enough. It’s the kind of ending that hurts, but in a way, feels honest/real. You don’t get the comfort of everything working out, but you do get something more grounded with growth, consequences, and a sense of self, even if it means letting go.

NaNikka ♧ asked a question

Hello! I’m looking for this manhwa where the black-haired uke is a pianist(?) but he is somewhat afraid of playing the piano again because he messed up a performance when he was kid? And then the seme is blonde (of course) and they had a one night stand, but the uke doesn’t know who he had sex with that night. The seme hit the uke up during their class in the university. They also got paired in the group project (i know cliché). The seme is a big eater somehow, and he also pretended that he likes cafeteria food, and he’s puppy-like in front of of uke.

That’s the only part i remember because i didn’t get to finish the manhwa.

Thank you in advance! (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ

NaNikka ♧ asked a question

So, I’m looking for this manhwa in where the uke hates his boss to the point that his bank account name is something along the lines of hiring a hitman for his boss

But then, someone set them up or they met each other through dating app? I actually forgot. And i’m not sure if I’m actually talking about the same manhwa or different ones, i usually mix up stories.

Thank youu!!

So, I am not yet finished with this manhua but as expected from [some] Chinese entertainment, it’s freaking ridiculous to the point of brain rot, and i don’t really hate it some scenes reminds me of those short c-dramas i see as an ad—overly absurd that it’s comical.

They deserved each other—they’re both trash :)

This started out great, and I was really liking that Noeul is ignoring the seme and seemingly starting fresh with Luna. Like, he’s finally setting boundaries and no one can tell him otherwise. But then, he can sleep with Yeoreum but not Luna? Man, he(we) already got his answer by that time. You don’t have to freaking lead Luna on. This makes me think he wants to keep Luna as a backup.

Luna deserves better. He was kind until the end—giving Noeul one last chance, and in a way, an easier way out. I really like him. And I really hate them both for doing this to a man with good intentions.

“Am I still on your mind?”

This smooth mf. I was rolling, wheezing, kicking—good god, it’s been ages since I’ve felt this giddy over a story. The last time was with Park Hanhoo’s Manager (The line was “My tomorrow became you”).

I’m so happy for them, especially for Yujin! I like him so much I was about to thrash Hanjoon for being a jerk (at first). This was such a refreshing read, compared to its main story.

Lol, the fan translation for chapter 20 (some scenes) hits much much different compared to the official translation. Especially that scene where Jun was crying, and it was because while crying he was thinking this: “I liked everything. Everything about Seo Yoonseul.” That exact moment had me crying right along with him.

But in the official translation, the same scene felt… kinda weak. It didn’t fully capture or deliver what Jun was feeling in that moment, so it came across less emotional than the fan translation.

Not complaining though—super thankful to the fan translator and uploader, because I got to read this precious gem.

“They’re the ones who were to blame, not me. I was never all that ashamed of it when I told somebody, either.”

Knowing the context behind Gitae’s words, I have nothing but mad respect for him. He’s not ashamed because what happened says more about the perpetrators’ morals than his own. And really, why should he blame himself when he was the one who was wronged? This is a powerful reminder that survivors owe no apology for their truth

I like this bibi so much! (And yes, I’m a bit emotional as of writing this.)

Uhh

Why is the story jumping from one scene to another????

It’s not that the story itself doesn’t make sense at all, I’m just like “whaaa???” when the scene/mood changes so suddenly.

Every time I read delinquent manga involving high school/college students, there’s almost always no police involvement. I understand Yakuza, but heck this is bullying. Does this somehow reflect an aspect of Japanese (or even Korean) culture? I do know that bullying is rampant in both countries, but seriously, why the lack of police intervention even in the form of entertainment?

Or maybe it’s just a plot device, like when a guy see a stranger (guy) on a street passed out and instead of calling the police, they bring the stranger to their home instead? So instead of calling the police to resolve it quickly, they drag it instead for the plot.

NaNikka ♧ created a topic of Driver's High

I really like their character and dynamics. But most of all, I like how the author did not drag this story! It made the plot greater, really. I will most probably re-read this gem.

Can’t wait for the fluffy side stories ヾ(☆▽☆)
