I really connect to his way of thinking because im autistic, and it comes across WAY better in the officials that he's just being earnest and misunderstood, or himself not understanding social dynamics and constantly checking in, asking questions, short answers and having to repeat that hes not joking often. Plus sex aversion and things being gross or completely uninteresting unless its someone or something you like is sooo autism too. The way people are saying the blonde one is guilt tripping is utterly crazy to me. Genuinely how can people see an emotional outburst due to being hurt repeatedly and NEVER been heard out, literally hes trying to explain to him but ml keeps leaving him before be can even say anything, hurting him again. Ml is ALWAYS assuming the worse of mc but mc has liked him since highschool. When he was first ghosted. no way, his attitude back then was not of someone who’s aware of their romantic feelings he definitely was always into him but he was completely unaware of how romantically he liked him and rly did not cherish him during their first time (they were literally on the school rooftop or smth and no research etc hyun looked like he was in painnnnnn and mc was just like eh that was fun ig). he just grew this obsession on ml which made him treat him more like an object that he found amusing ….. which isn’t very nice …… and that was the large majority of their interactions until a few chapters/days ago where mc starts treating him better bec he realises he likes him
Thats not the case at all though, it was showing that through hyuns pov at first, but we see blondes pov and he was clearly hung up on it. He wasnt all blaze like the readers AND brown hair are making him out to be, and how the author made him seen at first. He only adopted this persona afterwards properly out of jealousy and being hurt and misunderstanding. In highschool He was constantly seeking him out, constantly wanting to hang out, wanting to keep in contact with him but brown haired ghosted him. Regardless if he knew his own feelings or not, he knew his own feelings enough to be incredibly hurt when hyun abandoned him. Nobody is giving him any grace about learning about himself in highschool and the shift in attitude he shows towards brown hair during such. and then promptly being abandoned. hes not the kind of person everyones making him out to be, just because he mainly puts on that persona NOW out of denial and being left behind.

i get where your coming from but the fact is hyun confessed to seoyoon and seoyoon did not confess back in his own words he thought the confession was disgusting and he instead felt a sense of victory - and his snarky attitude toward hyun conveyed exactly that feeling. why on earth would hyun continue to stick around someone who viewed him as inferior and disgusting ????? obviously when seoyoon gets over his ego he realises he actually really likes and misses him but for the majority of their interactions, seoyoon was incredibly rude to him. just because he loves and misses him deep inside, it doesn’t mean he clearly expressed that affection to hyun. and hyun can read context clues and isn’t going to beg him to fall in love w him so he decides to draw a boundary and move away - perfectly reasonable
But I mean ofc he didn’t confess back, he just learned abt these feelings! Even when he thought it was (disgusting) he still indulged him, mind you something he was not forced to do but did so. Hyun never gave seoyoon a chance and while I do agree with you he might’ve been right not to, I also think it isn’t fair to pile on blondie for his reaction of being ghosted and not being able to act on his feelings. You have to admit, half of these problems are the effects of hyun not being truthful and pushing seoyoon to this extent. Or at least that’s what I think
i just don’t really see what hyun couldn’t done differently….. he confessed his feelings honestly and seoyoon acted as if he was doing hyun a favour by letting him sleep with him, seoyoon never rly showed any signs of reciprocation and never expressed anything romantic so hyun obviously never expected anything from him ….. but then seoyoon, on his own, comes to the revelation that he actually does like hyun in the last few weeks and hyun clearly had no idea how much has changed in seoyoons heart because it was a very recent realisation and seoyoon hasn’t said anything about how he romantically likes him…… he treated hyun with very superficial intent this entire time and was only truly genuine in his intentions once he (recently) realised his feelings … how is hyun supposed to react to such mixed and intense feelings / actions seoyoon as a person is such a whirlwind so idrk what hyun could’ve done different atp. he acted on the information he was given by seoyoon which was nothing positive regarding his feelings ….. like yes seoyoon is lowkey a terrible person for finding himself superior to hyun and then proceeding to mess with his life with bad intentions ……….. he is a fun character i like him a lot but what happened is entirely the consequences of his actions imo
Damn, they could have at least let him feel good. Why did the author make it so it hurts him when hes clearly very skittish already. I literally see no point in that. You could have subverted the ukes expectations by making the top really thorough, patient and such when it comes to this aspect
