Okay so I was excited to read this. Just started but the first like ten chapters are so,,, he’s such an asshole. He’s harassing her, trying to blackmail her and speaking to her like she can be bought. I appreciate that she actively tries to speak up for herself, but then she’s blushing all over and it’s just driving me up the wall. Does their relationship get better or is this their dynamic? I feel like I could power through, but if that’s their entire relationship with him treating her like some object I’m not sure I can stick around.

Okay this series is inherently fucked and I usually have a moral code I follow when reading BL but idk why I throw the morals out the window when I read this series. It’s really funny and strangely cute and like wholesome for the main couple consisting of a murderer and his victim. It’s so fucking weird but like it’s strangely a light read that I enjoy coming back to oml
It’s rare in that it’s incredibly f*cked up, but also endearing with likable characters. I think that’s the key- if you’re going to write a twisted romance, at least give your morally bankrupt characters SOME appeal. And they do a great job at that here. You really care about Deeta, despite who/what he is.

Okay that was one of the best stories I’ve ever read and I’m looking forward to the side stories .
This series is actually so fucking good. Interesting story. Actual realistic characters with backgrounds and trauma. Season one made us work for the scenes we get in season 2, and it makes getting to those scenes so much sweeter and sexier because of it. They are legit such a healthy happy couple and I’m so excited for more of their story.
