Even if I read the novel already, and know what’s going to happen in this scene it still made me cry. This proves the author’s talent in writing is top notch. I also respect how much the manhwa adaptation was able to show how it felt in the novel. However, this is not the peak of waterworks. I have my most favorite scene that literally made me bawl so hard. I ain’t spoiling but the manhwa readers should buckle up and grab tissues because there’s more to come. He finds his body there, with his final words carved into the cave wall, and he breaks down crying in front of the disciples. After that, a lot of sad and miserable events and scenes follow. And if I remember correctly, Baek Cheon leaves the sect too? Anyway enjoy in these calm days
