So I'm reading this on another site. And damn. The author really likes to write about people on the spectrum. I feel so bad for the neurotypical MCs because it IS hard to deal with, but I'm also rooting for them because I know that it IS possible to have a healthy loving relationship with these extremely neurodivergent MLs. Its just takes a lot of patience, understanding, and willingness to communicate.

Ch 21 is a masterclass in communication!! Then 2-3 chapters later, 2 new misunderstandings pop up I hope they get resolved as quickly. It's also nice to see their thought process, I love how they use also logic and and self-awareness (so rare in BLs lol)

I love that Hikaru is such a great communicator. He may not have brought up the topic of the job offer yet, but everyone needs time to process their thoughts before serious discussions. Of course, I feel like its also a very Japanese thing to be so reserved with your thoughts, even with partners. Makes for good drama I guess haha

MC does a lot in internal dialogue and never bothers to say his thoughts out loud. Of course ML won't understand what he's thinking lol. It's like he literally lives in his own head.

2 Seasons in and the story is just beginning

With the author's previous works (Love Me More and Viewfinder) I always felt like something was off. I was never into Viewfinder, but LMM had potential, though ultimately the story ended up being somewhat disappointing as well. The characters in both stories were lowkey twisted, and it made no sense that they even fell in love/ stayed in love with each other. For this story, I guess I appreciate that the author was straightforward this time, like, "Yep. ML's a psycho and MC is a victim." I hope the author ends this with the ML dying, going to jail, or suffering forever. Cause there is no way these two are ending up together. If they do, there is definitely something wrong with the author's perception of love.

This has got to be the worst uke. He's such a fuckin doormat and he's so fuckn dumb. I dropped this before, and I came back to read a random chapter (73) and they still have the same problem: ML doesn't listen to MC and assumes the worst, he rapes and hurts MC, MC crawls back to him and acts all dumb and cutesy like he wasn't just raped and abused by said ML. This is ragebait.

This was such a good story for Season 1 and 2. But S3 sucks and became another corny, abusive BL trope with no originality. Dropping this.

I don't care for the side couple's love story, and I don't like them either. Antagonist seems to have no redeeming qualities and brother just seems to just him do anything (including harm innocent people) just because he has a dumb crush

TBH I feel like author is good at writing fluff and romance, but horrible with angsty plots. Even the angsty history of ml and badguy is a little weird. But mc and ml are so cute, I'm letting all of this slide lol
