He literally is married to the mc sister he chose to bc she was the love of his life he then decided to be rude a disrespectful to Kiki and cheated on his sister with a woman who was also rude and disrespectful towards his wife and her position and he gets to act jealous yell be forceful and overbearing but also gets do disrespect Kiki the sister the marriage the position and country by bedding another woman it also makes him disingenuous with a lack of integrity but all that is fine bc he is not in a determined relationship though we knew something was developing, and we also know he is married cheating is both parties responsibility but he has obligations to the marriage she has no obligation to Kiki/sister

im someone with somewhat court knowledge throughout history in different periods and depending which era emotional relationship or not there is an political marriage Kiki/sister is the laughing stock of the court. And I think your court knowledge is flawed because it depends on time period/era and region/ruler and in the beginning they make it seem like she’s not a laughing stock that she’s the savior of the nation because now they’re not gonna get conquered they have a deal. She is sacrificing herself in a martyr sense. Yes she’s a political pawn, but she’s doing it for the greater good of her kingdom and that responsibility was pushed off onto Kiki and that’s why the brothers the father and the maid are so grateful to Kiki and yeah, political marriage is arranged there could be no love and feelings, but if you declare you’re in love with somebody and then you make this whole big deal to get married to them I think the least a family member could expect is respect like you try to conquer and pin down our kingdom so bad that we had to surrender our only princess because you loved her and you wanted to be with her and then you go and do this seems disingenuous and outright crazy not to mention his whole thing is he’s a warrior and he’s a knight and he goes and sleeps with a married woman while he’s married, and the man that she’s married to is one of his direct subordinate who goes and puts his life on the line for King & Country for the king to then sleep with his wife. And like think about it from Kiki‘s perspective to that I gave myself up because my sister ran away and then I wrist, life, and death to help my kingdom and this man tells me how much he’s in love with my sister. we make a deal that I’m going to help him upkeep his image so he doesn’t look like a laughing stock until we could find my sister and convince her to marry him and then as soon as we get into an argument, you go and fuck somebody else like an he’s supposed to just be cool with that like either way I flip it it’s not cool and it is a detriment to his character just to show development
