Honestly, I've read GL omegaverse stories and they're pretty ok. Very light on smut tho, it's like all GL smut has to be descriptions of flowers or something.
I like it when it isn't just your standard 2000's yaoi with babby. Specifically when it doesn't reduce people to being helpless to their pheromones or whatever bs, where the balance of power...... reply
I mean, I know queen victoria did a 40 years, but how long is it for someone not looking to set a record? Like, how long does the whole unwilling to do anything new/resume life part last?
it's been 3 years and I'm starting to worry that I should've really gotten my mom to go to therapy and all, but i didn't want her to think i was just pawning her off on someone cuz i didn't want to deal with her or anything, but I really don't know how I can bring her out of her current state and it's like every time i talk to her, her memory's reset and she's right back to what she used to blaming herself and going over the same stories. She's lost touch with her friends and her relatives all pretty much tried to scam her out of what little we got from what dad left behind, so it feels like I'm the only one she even opens up to at this point. I've tried talking, introducing her to hobbies, cleaning out the house, taking her on trips, encouraging her to go back to work - nothing works. I just want to know how much longer it will take before she pulls herself together.
I have a bad leg that's pretty obvious even when I wear lose pants, and while I have friends, I can't get a single person to stay more than a couple of dates.
does it rly matter if you can bs something on an interview (if u even get a callback)? do they actually call/check all the refs if its a big company? can i just use ai to autosend resumes to random places till i get actual employment?
i mean, if they're automating everything, they're prolly not doing anything more than background checks at best, right? and they won't have the time to actually look deep into candidate backgrounds and all?
Thinking of how fandoms can fall out of fashion pretty much like clockwork and fail to capture the interests of new fans that didn't grow up with the original show/game/work.
Is there anything with some real staying power you've noticed? Like something your parents generation (or the older ones) likes that your peer group also likes enough to form a fandom around?
Food is cheating tho, but I'm allowing music as a category.
What do y'all think about stories where the author is writing a story about your culture/religion/country/etc when they also don't belong to it? Do you mostly look past it? Cringe? Do you like an outsider POV? Do you laugh at it? Is there anything that makes you love or hate a story from an author who is an outsider?
