I had high hopes, got through 7 chapters, and had to go into the comments to see if I'm the only one feeling insane. The people saying it feels like a fanfic are on point. No world building explained, no social hierarchy or even who tf is a part of the social scene is explained. Random new characters are being introduced and apparently they all act like best friends in 2 fucking panels. The og FL's brother leaves for some kinda mission and if they didn't convey that he's back by letter, that would have taken a while to come, I'd think we're still in the same fucking day MC came back from og FL's estate. Like what???? ALSO why tf did her 2 year trip end up in like 1 chapter???? I expected to see more of it than the first few days. Plus no way in he'll that ride from the circus to that orphanage took days. Like bffr SPARE ME. I'm done
