Looking at the raws....

Hayden isn't trying to teach Brett a lesson. He was really vulnerable with Brett before and gave Brett his heart and Brett broke it. It isn't fair to Brett because Brett didn't ask for that. But Hayden isn't interested in "getting back together". He isn't interested in rehashing a relationship that ended in such pain for him. It's not an intellectual reaction or reason, it's purely emotional. Which is a really nice bit of characterization. He's emotionally driven. He got burned and he doesn't want to put his hand back on the stove.

It's not about fairness. I am not sure it's honest. He's not the optimistic trusting kid he was at the beginning with Brett. He's afraid of relationships and the pain they bring

Brett's tactics right now with Hayden would have worked on him 2 years ago. But they don't work on a Hayden that has spent 2 years miserable, trying to move on.

This is my theory based on what he says later and it fits with Hayden saying that he feels like he's always filming the wrong scene.

It's not fair from Brett's perspective because he didn't get a chance to try - 2 years ago hime didn't want a relationship. But from Hayden's perspective giving your heart to a guy who broke it a second time is a stupid move.

That's really bad reasoning. If he was keeping Gi in a relationship against his will despite having the ability to break their bond any time that's forcing him into a relationship. Consent isn't only necessary for sex. That's really bad and they're weirdly glossing over it just like some of Gi's bad behavior. And Chiyoung doesn't get a free pass to behave badly just because he's the bottom or because Gi is a jerk.

He couldn't break the bond until just now though??? So no he didn't do anything wrong, as the moment he realized he could he did. The entire season he was waiting to get rid of Gi. Also don't forget that he was practically groomed by Gi for 2 years (he was only 17 when they met) and didn't know that he was doing the bond in the first place

I may be misunderstanding, but my reasoning was based on ch 50 where the villain says "have you still not told your ESPER that your class is high enough to break your bond?"

Throughout the story we see that chiyoung himself only came to realize later that his class is much higher than F class. I believe until this moment, with the villain saying that, he didn't know it was possible to break the bond in the first place (which is why he was finding other ways to run away from Gi)

I have been souring all the rec lists to find it but there's nothing. It was a manga about a new vampire with no teacher wearing a muzzle and working at a bar to get fed with *** and not bite folks. And he meets an experienced vampire and this friend and the two take him back to their place...or maybe it was a hotel.

Does anyone know? I am so fixated!
