This comic literally do NOT need taeha in the story to make the comic. They literally can focus on haesoo journey to battle her insecurity (and letting away mincheol bum ass) BUT NO THEY ADD TAEHA LIKE????
Call me overly woke idc but this comic reinforced misogynistic views on how vulnerable woman needs MAN to accompany her to the "right path". Haesoo needs a friend to lean on and that's it, taeha here being absolute pred he is lowkey also playing with haesoo vulnerability so he can " own" her.
I was catching up this comic just to see the aftermath of haesoo and mincheol relationship after all of that pain haesoo take, but no it filled with straightslop that you probably would find on booktok recommendation books.
frr, there’s also such a lack of representation of girl’s girls or simply girls rooting for girls. almost all female characters are being portrayed as somewhat antagonistic. i really hope to see haesoo and a a future support system beyond taeha.
And that is also what made me think this comic is also somewhat misogynistic. They do not want to see woman supporting each other that's why they make it like that. Not to mention with those shitty writing, taeha role here will be justified because "he's always with haesoo" what a crap. Both taeha and mincheol does not deserve her
If the author was misogynistic she would have glorified Mincheol 's character, especially by the way Korean are not that much adavanced About domestic violence topic, and how much fans mincheol is getting in Korean ( they are even attacking the author for the way she write Mincheol character there) Also there are been hints that tae ha will end up crying, so he will paid at some point for his lies and manipulation let's just wait. Also sometimes we have to accept that women are also human and crave for love .
Leave that misogynistic side since it's my own personal opinion and everyone feel free to agree or disagree, but this author do suck at writing female dynamics. I do agree that human (at the end, both male or female) still crave for love, but is it necessary to write it down like this comic? Idc taeha will pay for his actions, to me he still unworthy of na haesoo. She needs time for herself to heal first.
I always wonder how'd the author capture the judo fighting scenes so well and the techniques as well, then I found out they practice judo (no wonder). As both BL and Action comic enthusiasts, this comic is a good yum

As much how people always despise this series (which suddenly also got into mainstream media) and then saying it's a shitshow and slop series, I can't lie I always waited for every update. It's a shitshow, but MY shitshow.
