From what I've gathered from reading other stories in similar situations, they think like that, because h r father kicked her out, and they expect the grandfather to still give the title of 'next head's to the father who kicked her out, even if the grandfather is giving her shelter for now.
Most of them are probably thinking he's only providing shelter because of pity, they share blood and such and don't think the grandfather really values the granddaughter
She is literally a child, her body looks grown up but this doesn't make it more acceptable. It looks like he is abusing a impaired woman... (╯°Д °)╯╧╧

But yes I'm proud of you to want to break up, but you had to have a more profund talk with her. Not everyone is the same. Growing up with love, knowing how to express it, even having an expressionless face (that is one of my favorites type of story, or the ones with an angry face), you have to know why they are like this. And you already know, everyone can tell she is traumatized about something, she even refuses to say to you what it is.
But overall I don't like her character too much lol
