Never understood why i couldn't completely get with this story until i just re-read it. I didn't like how the uke sacrificed his potential career for the seme. Seme could've also been- "you should try everything you want Yuta, our bond won't change". But instead did the exact opposite. I felt it would've been better if he went to another university for baseball and tried it out to see whether baseball as a professional career was for him. And the seme randomly distancing himself in the beginning was an odd choice. I personally felt "why'd you do that?" No reason, no explanation, just random distancing because he likes the uke. It was all odd- apart from jealousy or actions based on jealousy you don't technically see any aspects of his love.

Lastly, another comment mentioned control and I can see that as well, very well pointed out. Personally, maybe years ago in the midst of all the "non-con" bls this seemed good I guess(even then the career thing bothered me) but frankly i didn't feel any emotions from this( ̄へ ̄)

Why did the ml claim to be in love with Yoru, only to be rough and asshole-y with him. They wrote it off later on to show that he's a nice guy and always loved him ( why not show that since the start- it's always telling that "oh he's a nice guy and he really cares for you" but love shines the most in action. If you loved him, yes you'd buy his freedom but then you'd actually set him free. Give him happiness, let him be. He's technically never known that at all. Also, he ends up falling in love so randomly. Sometimes, I wonder because these mangas are short, that people give a lot of leeway to plot, characterisation and story writing- this needed that: a pure blood dealing with mix bloods and humans- hence being abandoned by his family; a human dancer pretending to be a 'hybrid" and the public ragging- to the point that he was sold to a brothel. Why didn't we see how he dealt with that- how he's been coping with the whiplash of being a prostitute (how he's dealt with the abuse from the circus master). And what was the point of Amran being a hybrid really- just the lion heat thing majorly. Poorly written story, with amazing art. Not to mention, the convenient forgetting of his behaviour at the beginning. Another one for the smut faction.

Not cute not funny.
It's just out of touch- the whole straight man sleeps with a guy but his mentality is still trash. Even if he's bisexual- he kept making his partner insecure by going on and on about women(he's clearly not faithful type and can we stop with the "why aren't you into women thing?") the whole start sucked- we have stupid "i can't believe you're not into women" plus rape. So, i don't get the hight rating.

Ryo sucked too- he's forceful, closed off and I haven't forgotten the assault in the first chapter. It's an overall trash story, I kept thinking that maybe they'll grow up and get better. But nope. They just don't get each other at all. Skipping this.

Just cute, soft and warm. A small hug and kindness. Adorable story, wish it got a whole volume:')

No one mentioned the rape at the start of the story and also the extra had dub-con as well. I'm thinking that the creator has a thing for semes being forceful :/ Also the story to be lacked emotion and warmth. It could've been more fleshed out, more focused on the emotions, the plotlines and really everything. ヽ(`Д´)ノ

its more like two inexperienced lonely people find someone finally. so i think the plot is valid, not too lovey dovey and neutral, and you know the ml somehow belives consummating the marriage wouldve made it truly a valid marriage, maybe its in their tradition on what he grown to know, and given the situation that of the clan wars and attempted assasination to him,,he couldve killed him instead and go worse with torture given its a possible assasin purpose only so the rape kinda is somehow valid if he was tryna balance two and two to not start a war

Exactly my thoughts. Mid the story, they showed us ML's thoughts and their first night on how he had to do it to consummate the wedding. Its evident that the wolfie father is willing to kill the fox if the marriage is not successful. Tho rape is still rape but i realized the mangaka did not put it in there just because they could. Still kind of a harsh culture they live in, the story revolves and reflects the sternness of those old traditions.

Each Suhyeok went back to his respective timeline.

The ending was Jinwoo saying "don't go" to Suhyeok from the present. So they're still together. The entire time when faced with a younger Suhyeok , Jinwoo just felt tired, wondered what's the point of holding onto the Suhyeok in front of him because there's eventually going to be break up and they're not going to be with each other. It felt that he was too spent to be in touch emotionally with himself, not even realising the hurt inside him. That's why the ending was him pushing all that aside, now understanding just how hurt and broken he had been feeling without Suhyeok, seeing his love for him and finally truly holding onto him.

The last two chapters were Suhyeok's pov: he felt that Jinwoo didn't love him, fell out of love and just stuck with him begrudgingly. He started to believe that he loved Jinwoo more but Jinwoo did love him, always had loved him and showed him the same; the fatigue was never an excuse for hating him it was truly just fatigue. Jinwoo on the other hand saw his perspective from the last 10 years, 5 years, to now. That Suhyeok has always loved him, had him in his eyes but his fatigue and emotional absence turned him away. They still loved each other. That's why in the end they fell asleep facing other showing that they both now remember each other and the 10 years they spent together.

( Also the present Jinwoo couldn't remember what 18 year Suhyeok or even Suhyeok in general liked (meat that is). But when the present Suhyeok met 24 year old Jinwoo, before work got him tired, he still remembered it) It just shows that the present Jinwoo didn't fall out of love, or hate him; he had let life get in between, forgotten to make space for Suhyeok, which is still very sad and honestly how break ups happen really but the thing was they both realised that they both felt that there was no love between them or the other person hated them but it was still there and all those memories and years helped them realise just how much the other mattered to them. That's why they got back together.

I don't think I can read any further, it's not my cup of tea and it's very fucked up as a story. Yes the writing is good, but the plot themes are too heavy and quite disturbing. They both need so much help and so far the rape/torture/abuse is just.. a lot. I frankly couldn't root for them because obviously. They both sucked but Sung Ho is just wrong for what he's done. I don't know why I continued so far tbh, cuz there's no coming back and maybe i just wanted to end it becomes the way it's written was good but nah, man. It's not for me, since ch 1.

I'm stopping at Ch.44. How does this end? A brief summary would help cuz I'm honestly done :'/

I have just finished reading it… Warning for spoilers obv

Basically, Sungho, the rapist and kidnapper, commits suicide after Dohyung, the victim, tells him to fuck off as he is just a rapist and he should just kill himself. He gets hospitalized and is alive after a surgery. Dohyung then realizes he wants to be with him and can’t live without him, because being outside of the warehouse means no freedom for him, as he is alone in this fucked up world. There are some drama between the two of them, Sungho wants to give himself up to the police, but all evidences of the warehouse are destroyed in a fire which Dohyung caused. In the end they..pretty much get back together and we have a “happy ending” with no more violence or rape. (I hope I wrote the names correctly…( ̄∇ ̄"))

You are a grown ass woman, targeting a minor (middle schooler probably) while having a thing with his brother. What. The. Fuck.

Frankly I wouldn't have minded this being longer and more emotional with its plot. It felt more dragged towards the end since the author is mostly very straightforward in their plots. Her other works don't have much unnecessary drama ig. If they had instead talked about how Ryuu felt about this whole thing and dealing with a household where his mom also probably doesn't seem to give a fuck about him, it would have had a touch more of emotional grounding. Because it does mess with you irl. Regardless, still a good read minus the family etc.

Also poor Ayumu, i felt so bad seeing him almost get attacked.

Adorable, show stopping, fabulous- i can't say enough. I loovveee these stories, stories of pure love and comfort.

I love when authors raise delicate topics like being queer, sexual discomfort, trauma etc in stories. This didn't go very deep being a short story but i like the discussion this brings in. Men and women speaking up , finding comfort in friends and partners.

I love how Fujita didn't disregard Sanjou's traumatic experience due to his own inexperience/young age. It's a young love and this really can go wrong so easily(if you've unfortunately experienced something, please discuss it with a trusted adult :'))

It's loving, caring and adorable. This is what the "bl" genre needs more of. Most of us are here because male characters usually don't open up(apart from the occasional shoujo/josei genre)and we get to see them being vulnerable, open and emotional.

So while everyone is upset that Ai had a thing with Yukio(which i dunno why is super upsetting cuz a)it's the apocalypse anb more importantly b) the cp aren't a thing so :??) but can we talk about the rape though?!!

I hate trope/storyline thing that these creators do- ml:stay away from me even though we love each other cuz amnesia *insert some plot thing* bla bla
Mc: nooo
Ml proceeds to rape

Disgusting, horrible and very horrible to read. It's a traumatic experience and not a cheap plot device. Why would you ruin other wise good characters (even though Ai actually was forceful in the beginning as well so nvm)

Man, I dunno. It was an okay read. Better, loving *consent aware* mls would've been better :/

    Uchiru July 6, 2024 8:01 am

It always feels like a dick move when an ML claim to like MC but proceed to fuck someone (substitute or not). I don't trust that someone to be truly in love if you can fuck anyone while claiming love and possessive of someone. It seems selfish to want love and be debauch with other people

    smutecni March 12, 2025 11:49 pm

i just don’t understand that people are defending his actions. i honestly don’t get it. i didn’t even read past the 1st chapter, that rape scene just felt so disgusting to me. like how can he force himself onto the person he likes just after said person went through something this traumatic? hell tf no. people saying that this is just fiction so it’s okay are pea brained.
