All the characters do what what the writers want them to do as they throw mountains of information at the reader, for a story that has so much backstreet and self monologue all the characters felt so blank, as if being solely driven by the writer. The plot is innovative in a way but is drowned by the lack of cohérence. The way some 9f the characters are portrayed are so haphazard ngl.....the only character that I feel was well done is the princess's Nanny. Loved that the princess was smart but it didn't feel genuine like if the writer didn't know how to write a strong and scheming woman while also balancing that she is kind and broken......I don't know how to explain it but most of the characters felt so one tracked......also didn't like how the only reason the Duke payed attention to her was because she didn't want him now and she was avoiding him, (yes I know he thought she knew his secrete but again THAT SHOULDNT HAVE BEEN A THOUGHT, the writer keep such a hold on the characters tat its hard to actually invest yourself in them and see them as interesting) also the ending was trash felt so incomplete, even just 5 more panels would have surficed to tie up the story but it felt so abrupt.....nothing lead up to it....nothing eluded to the ending. Anygays thats my thoughts and yes I read the whole thing....sadly.....the art saved it trendously ngl if this was a book god help us all

I just hope Older Seol-ah finds closure and peace and they resolve the misunderstandings cause my heart hurts for her....she didn't get a chance to grow up so yeah her anger is misdirected cause she's still a frightened and traumatized child....now the only person who was on her side Erzabeth isn't even thinking about her she just wants her to not target the other Seol-ah which i feel if she actually just talked to older Seol-ah and EXPLAIN these things wouldn't have spiraled this far....Right now older Seol-ah just needs a freaken hug she has been hurt to many times....
I love how the writer/artist portrays the women and men equally and doesn't overly sexualize or make them week and dependant or love lorne! Also the healthy male-female frienships are soo refreshing. Its so nice to see so many strong and level headed women~

I'm convinced half these comments shows yall are not actually processing anything ....yes her powers are 0 because she recieved the blessing "cause she didn't want to kill the hero she looked up to", which is also why she chose the red head to go to the ball with and make secondary plans to secure the north's future if her powers can no longer be used.......not to mention the whole Trevor plot clearly he's a vessel that holds Reina's magic (which he transfered back to her ; the teleportation magic) i know its not the best story but its a good story so far if you actually pay attention
