I know we like hating on how he just doesn’t speak to her the way we’d like him to, but I honestly like that? That’s me I had a problem with him previously because of this, but now that I’ve had a chance to let it cook and read it in one go, I can see just how much of an imperfect lead he is which makes it so interesting and makes him such a great character. We’re so used to seeing the perfect main lead that always says the right thing but truth is, this man has been at war since he was 12 he would not know how to speak to her, and I don’t think that even bothers her anymore, even when he’s raised his voice at her she never once felt that he might be violent with her, in the end one way or another his message did reach her, him yelling at her now makes sense he always tells, walks it off, comes back and explains so it’s normal for him to react this way, it’s the only way he knows how to be and it’s not easy to change his way of being.

She’s going through such an imposter syndrome and she feels so ashamed her secret has been discovered, she’s not scared of him, and she understands that he would never hurt her, she’s just so scared he will see that she’s not who he thought she was. This will clear the air so much and I know he will reassure her and comfort her as he always does. We shouldn’t just hate on him so harshly. She has done so many questionable things too! Cause going to the front lines was definitely not the move, he just couldn’t understand why she would do so much being a beloved daughter of an extremely rich and powerful family, at a point he must feel she might even look down on what he gives her because she feels the need to be there, he doesn’t ’need’ her there, because truthfully he doesn’t but when she acts the way she does he must think she thinks she has to be there cause poor him doesn’t have enough for her that she must help him. But truth is, if he had known this was the first time she ever felt free enough to even speak, he’d be more understanding to her need to be with him to make her own decisions that might not line up to him, this just pieces everything together

So he definitely scared him off on purpose he probably doesn’t believe Alphas can be together and that’s the whole dilema he’s been having for Byul to just come in and say I like you too, the issue wasn’t just the feelings it was the biological issue, two alphas can’t be together it’s not right it’s not even a nice feeling, how could they ever … awwwes can’t wait for them to work over it !!
