The art is beautiful & that’s what drew me in, other then that I didn’t feel for this one either, maybe it’s just the rape type thing since I’ve had bad experiences in my life & kinda get murderous feels towards the rapers.
this author has over works without rape. if you want to avoid manga with rape in i advise you check the tags, they will usually say if there is rape or any other things you would want to avoid

There are no tags....unless they aren't showing. I read on my phone. All its says is "Yaoi, Oneshot" nothing else.
I don't check the tag because some things are under rape but aren't terrible or just have flash back of a rape without showing the actually full image. I have read a few like that. Those I can deal with. Where they person is saved/helped after the incident or during w/e. It's when they are raped and the manga end with them doing nothing but getting turned into fk toys or something along those lines.
