I just binged read this after seeing a trailer for its anime adaption. I’m in disbelief. I’m reading the comments, on Reddit, on TikTok trying to find an explanation. I’m still can’t believe it, but I found a video that gave me an explanation. She was shackled the entire story by her need to fulfill her “dream” to get married for her family. All the drama & chaos that happened was b/c of it. She was shackled by this burden that her role as a women was to get married. She was finally free from it all, from her family from everything. She was finally living for herself, she opened a business & was independent. I just wish the time skip wasn’t that long. Why did they have loose so much precious time. Their whole life’s they were burdened. Her with her illness & him with his assassin lifestyle. Why did they have to suffer so much?!!!! But part of me wants to believe it was her choice. Because I’m pretty sure her bodyguard or the duke could have found him if they really wanted too. I think I saw a few comments that there might be extra episodes, hopefully but this was last updated in January? Like 6 months ago!!!!
Thank god time is going by fast. I thought it was going to be dragged out. Because he asked for a divorce 4-5 years into their marriage right? They were married for 1 roughly, 2 years have passed. So this is year 3. Hopefully there’s another time skip cuz this is just dumb. All these years and no communication or trying to understand. Like their relationship was slowly progressing before he found out his family was responsible for his mother’s death. And seme too, like he clearly had feelings for uke since the beginning & I felt like he would play along with him because he knew uke wasn’t being honest. Why didn’t he just confront him about it. Ugh I hate went there’s unnecessary years wasted cuz of miscommunication (╯°Д °)╯╧╧

Like I honestly thought it was going to go the route that she started with blondie but the professor would get possessive or something. I just binged read this & at the beginning they were making it seem like he was a demon or something. I was like “wait is this fictional, is he a incuubus? Idk where this is going, but all I’m feeling bad for is blondie dude, he’s giving golden retriever energy and he getting entangled in this

wtf, I just binged read this. It’s hasn’t updated since January (╯°Д °)╯╧╧ damn everyone’s fucked in this story. wtf?!!! Ugh. But thinking about it this needed to happen so they all heal/move on. They were all living under lies/mask. Pretending everything was okay, but it wasn’t. They all fucken need therapy. The MC, I can’t forget him forcing the smile with his fingers after getting beat up (sent chills) the fucken ML after all the shit his brother & mother put him through. The mother the main instigator of this whole situation (kind of) Like all this would have been avoided if that fucked up brother was disciplined (╬￣皿￣)凸
This story was so wholesome & real. With real life problems. With their family, coming out, society pressure, etc. Not that it was important, but I wished we could have seen him tell him he was technically his first for bottoming. But after he explained his background im sure he picked up on it. Cuz I remember when they got together at the beginning the seme was like it’s my first time or something, and the uke was like me to not exactly and the seme just had a confused face. Loved this story, so sweet cute
Just discovered this & oMG I hate when misunderstandings are dragged on for the entire story. The MC will be a dick & when everything is revealed they’ll beg for forgiveness. And what sucks is that now I’m stuck wanting to figure out what the hell happened. If he didn’t sleep with the dad & the dad just died recently why didn’t he clear up the misunderstanding? He also must have known the kid wasn’t his so it must have been his son. Why would he let his future grandchild suffer! Ahhh
