This story was so wholesome & real. With real life problems. With their family, coming out, society pressure, etc. Not that it was important, but I wished we could have seen him tell him he was technically his first for bottoming. But after he explained his background im sure he picked up on it. Cuz I remember when they got together at the beginning the seme was like it’s my first time or something, and the uke was like me to not exactly and the seme just had a confused face. Loved this story, so sweet cute
I just binged read this, at first I hated her character and it still frustrates me but I realized they were both unhinged. The princess was obsessed with the duke. She forced their engagement because she was a spoiled princess. She knew he was indifferent to her & said she just wanted to be with him. The duke being raised to be the perfect heir played along. Even her mother at one point was like please just play along. You see her obsession with him when he became a servant. When she gather those 3 servants so they can be killed/tortured.
The duke played along for survival. He was afraid, he had lost everything. This is when he “falls” in love with her. But one can argue his feelings could have been the result of Stockholm syndrome.
Their relationship started off with the whim of a spoiled princess. It was twisted since the beginning. I can’t wait for everything that happened to be explained. It’s obvious the princess was tricked by her brothers. She assumed he would get a noble title & be gone for maybe a couple years, and then they would be able to be together. The princess didn’t explain shit to him so he thought she had discarded her. Especially when he saw she had signed away her ownership of him. I’m assuming the brother’s thinking he would die at war, told her he was dead and tried to marry her off. That’s why in that scene where the duke killed everyone it looks like she’s wearing a wedding dress. But there’s something I’m confused about why did he make it seem she wanted to be empress. In that moment he said die a noble way or suck my dick, which she did. Maybe in that moment he just couldn’t kill her so he made that crazy agreement? Or maybe realizing he was going to be marked a traitor again, she thought that was the only way to protect him by becoming empress. Ughh this is basically the only reason why i stuck with the story despite both of then annoying me, cuz how did they end up with that agreement. Any novel spoilers?!

I'm only 2 chapters in but I don't like her character. based on the promo image & description I thought she was going to be an assertive person. controlling the duke to her whim. she's giving timid/pushover. like really, overreacting like that in a royal ball celebrating the kingdoms founding in front of everybody. I really dislike characters like that cuz all though sometimes they have a strong character development it's a frustrating process. at least there's 50 chapters

I started reading this when it premiered but then forgot about it. What do you mean the end?!!!!! What about the whole called hit on him?! Why so many moments felt rushed or just moved on like nothing. This felt rushed. Since I binged read all 89 chapter I hadn’t realize the main story finished in ch 52?!!! Wth. wtf!!!! Really author. We couldn’t have a smooth ending/transition into them becoming a couple. He cooks him a nice dinner, they have an intimate night before the fight, he wins, and they confess their feelings. I was getting a bad premonition the whole chapter, but when I saw the light turn red I thought Kim Dan was going to get hit. But this?!!! Why!!!!! My thing is 1 they’re probably recording them. Remember they’re trying to get a rise out of him, that’s why they did the interview but I think that didn’t work. The only reason the guy won the first time was cuz they sabotaged his foot. Who knows what they’re planning this time
I would have loved to seen their first time. Especially since the betas first attempt ended by the alpha kicking him out during his rut for his safety. Followed by him leaving for 1 month. I can only imagine the tension, I would have liked to seen that. Especially seeing the beta being a bit vulnerable in that moment since the entire story he has this wall up because of his insecurities/prejudice mindset.
Also after all the married office omega went through I would have loved to seen his baby. I had mixed feelings when we saw his backstory with his husband. In the main story I hated his husband cuz he appeared to be a cheating husband who abused his omega husband. And although that is true he was also portrayed badly. First like he said they did not get married for love, it was an arranged marriage. He was honest with the omega, that he was seeing someone & that he would mark who he wanted. Second, once that “bond” materialized when the omega had his first heat he ended things properly with the omega he was seeing. Which another point, in the main story they made him seem like he was sleeping around but he only had one main partner he had been with since high school. Again not saying this is right, but in a lot of stories I’ve read it’s almost expected that marriage is a financial business while they had their lovers on the side. Going back to him ending things properly to be now with his omega. But remember the omega manifested late, so his traits weren’t “working” properly. He had no control of his pheromones, which like in all omegaverse made his alpha mad b/c they are very possessive of their omegas. In omegaverse that’s basically them cheating/flirting. This was an issue of miscommunication bw them. He could have handle things differently & tried to be more understanding but I think that’s when his alpha instincts over powered him. So after reading their story I realized he wasn’t the complete jerk he was made out to be. It was a mixture of miscommunication & his alpha instincts over powering him. Cuz even the MC beta said the alpha could be very attentive and caring but the omega didn’t see that.’which leads to my other issue, the omega also played a role in this. Because his alpha husband was honest with him since the beginning & when he finally became a full omega the alpha was “ready” to he proper partners. But cuz of his pain of his past one sided love he didn’t trust or let in the alpha. He was always on guard and defensive against the alpha,‘which would make his alpha react that way and lead to the many miscommunications the had.
