and they wont be coming back sadly, you have to build your lists from scratch
I started using manga updates to track my manga I’m like 8 years late… I wish I knew the website before the crash… but ima just upload the 1000s that I have on my google docs
Does anyone know when we will be able to add to our lists again. ? I already have my google doc created from 5 months ago I just have seen we shouldn’t touch our lists but I’m itching to revive the whole thing (including the dates? Adding on the comment section)

Only rated and/or tagged stories were recovered, nothing else did or will come back. They were all dumped into the "Already read" list, too.

Only way to contact them is through sending an email to [email protected], but there is no point because 1. they won't reply, or if they do it will take them 3 years, and 2. they can't recover anything else because their data disk crashed. Everything you had on your list, besides the tagged/rated stories, are gone forever. You have to manually recover them yourself.

I am still mourning my list… I haven’t added anything back.l I’m glad I dated everything on the google doc I made a couple months ago I’ll just add the dates to the comments when I redo my list so it still feels the same…

You can create manual lists , I'm doing that for now too . You'll find it in the homepage in your profile bar as "List" . I'm adding my mangas in different categories for now. Also if you have a android device ,use the mihon app to store mangas in your library , then track them through mangaupdates , the new list stays secure . And it won't cause glitch here in the website .
Ao3 is down sighhhhhhhhhh, and people are complaining on ao3 wanting to get t more censored(new fans) when tags literally exist… and the mangago freaking crashed the world is doomed and now people are obsessed with narusasu, when it’s always been sasunaruuuu I’m joking…. Kinda

Last I heard they tried to recover as much as they could but one of their data disks got deleted so it’s pretty much stagnant now. Only things that were tagged or rated will still be there I believe, so best to start rebuilding your lists
I saw a comment saying don’t touch your list yet… like last week so just in case I’m only book marking things until idk

I saw a post that was circulating around I think it was by an admin that said adding things to your lists doesn't change it , also another person in the comments messaged on of the admins about the situation and they said some user data was lost due to smth so your lists will only come back if you have tagged or rated the stories you've read!
