Does it need to be Chinese? I know many good novels that fit that catagory but manhuas are usually worse than novels/mangas and manhwas because they lack depth and the mc's and ml's are usually insanely overpowered. Also you say you want nice and simple recommendations but does that mean you want something very light-hearted with predictable plot or survival/ apocalyptic (dark) or something funny and romantic?

I have noticed a lot of the bls and gls or even just straight parings are about straight cis people. I would love to read some where theres a poc or someones trans or literally anything else aside from being them being as pale as paper
