The first time we saw the seprent in human form, he had such a huge resemblance with Doram that I thought they had a relation. Now he lost both his vision and hearing, he needs a body to take his revenge. As the Omi is gone and left the brother with Doram, and he still has his agner for Hyo, that might be a reason for him to concern with serpent at some point.
