I know the mc was a doormat for most of his business career in his past life, but if you already have past information about certain things like the PD always carry a recorder, and even the thing about the video he took about the manager throwing a bottle at the kid he could have put it into an offline folder or even better, quickly post it. He could have slipped ina note when the PD was doing the presentation inside the files to tell her, this is what has been happening then send her the recording of all the things the PD said. He's been in toxic work culture for a while so there should be things he picked up he can use as well. I'm probably being this way because of this other idol manhwa I'm reading where they guy transported is a PD for a broadcasting place. He's a lot more sneaky and knows how to be a fox when he talks or more like a snake.
But idk man, someone put at the bottom all the things that happened to the mc and yea it's bad but also it's kinda deserved if he's not putting in countermeasures to get rid of the bad people early
~ CONTAINS SPOILER <or not if you're a novel reader too>
I totally agree with you. Iwol ended up (in a way) enabling these abusers to gather around him for too long when he definitely could've gotten rid of them earlier before any fatal mishaps could happen. And it really is frustrating bcs we know how he picked this "submissive" behavior from his years of being an abused victim. I really don't want to blame him, but—hhhhh I also can't help but be mad, like, bro, come on, you know when enough is enough .
And true. Compared to Seo Hoyun, Iwol—sometimes—got no spine and is close to being a pushover. But, I'd say, don't worry(?), he will do it eventually. Gathering all evidence of this jerk of a PD's corruption and whatnot. Just... still too slow and not that satisfying when we think about all the shits these kids have to go through during the 'enduring' time.
Well, this story, all along, is his process of overcoming his weaknesses and past traumas ╥﹏╥

Plus we just started season 2! Lot more to come
Spoilers!!! (From the novel)
While that's true I feel like Iwol was so used to being a doormat for manager nam and everytime he tried to do something he ended up bearing the brunt of it, like in the novel he mentioned that he tried refusing work but things just got worse when he did that and I feel like those situations gradually made him think there was no point of trying to change anything plus he's so used to just dealing with it.
Also Iwol did keep records, he kept text messages and also recorded video calls and also wrote down situations in detail in his "diary" with dates and times too but i doubt the manhwa will go into detail abt it so im just mentioning it. In the novel it was actually mentioned more clearly that while he wanted to record everything he never carried around recorders beacuse if he was caught with it, it would lead to attitude controversy or smth along the lines of that
Also while we just think 'he could just post it or let.the CEO know by sending recordings" realistically you would understand why he didn't do that
1. UA is a very unreliable company in the setting (this was even proved because later when Iwol gets punched and slapped by yoo hansoo, he reports it to the company unwillingly bc his members told him to and the company just shifts him to a different department and doesn't even fire him, now considering this it's obvious that exposing those records wouldn't change anything
2. He doesn't know the repercussions of changing events from the past, even if he knew yoo hansoo would join the company and ruin it, the system is pretty shitty and if he changes things a lot it affects him too. And he doesn't know how which is worse so he's sticking it out to see how it goes
Basically if he does anything the system isn't telling him to do he doesn't know what it'll affect it in the future so he's trying not to stray from the future too much
Ik this is a really really long yap but as a person who genuinely loved the novel and reread it 5+ times everything in the Nobel was explained so well so it frustrates me that the manhwa isn't as detailed (yes I'm aware that it would take too long to illustrate if it was detailed) But still!! I just wanted to let yk! If you read this thank u for sticking it out for so long
Yise wanted to kill himself, how would u feel if someone decided to pilot your body after u wanted to be done with everything . That is still Yise's body I'd feel every right to want to get my body back especially if they're doing something I never wanted them to do. And the fact the the system is hiding yise from MC because they know he'd want his body to be in peace is hella shady . And what if Yise didn't want someone to take over his body over, is no one concerned about the original souls opinion of someone else being in his body
I understand the whole second male lead syndrome and shit but I really hate it when a new "boyfriend" is automatically like all those other platonic or relationships you've had with other men can no longer be valid. They get unnecessarily jealous and don't talk about this with their girlfriends. It's really a big show of insecurity and creating problems when there doesn't need to be one. Heck if he's ballsy enough to give a nasty look to our baby, then he should be man enough to sit down and talk things out with Sooji
