I don't remember the main killer name but I feel he's of the type who targets guys whose partners are piece of shits and studies their behaviour/makes them on his side while feeding his "crazy" side of killing people so that the partners wouldn't feel bad for him as he's punishing them on their behalf. Also making money by writing novels on these things.

Same with ah-in and the other guy who got hit.

Now that he doesn't specifically knows what his mother thinks, he'll grow restless until he hears what she actually feels. She's the driving force that can control his emotions, his feelings as an individual.
