I've reread to make sure I wasn't wrong...but I hate the way this story is written to demonize MC for being ugly/being insecure about his looks. They just constantly throw it in his face and make things his fault just bc he has feelings??? I really hate the ML. Hardly ever stands up for him. It's just a constant pity party for the ML too.
I'm calling it that cheol will bottom too lol. We already saw that minyoung has been the top with all of his partners since they broke up. It's something he's been wanting and, as we've seen, he has used sex (with cheol topping) as a tool to keep him attached. I think Minyoung is playing the long game with it, given that we already know how manipulative and obsessed he is.
Just my current hypothesis. Only time will tell fs
Did I completely miss the explanation of ML's backstory? I feel like we're missing a lot of info about him and his past
My main issue was the flow of the story??? I feel like bro moved on from having to deliver children WAY too quickly lmaoooo and suddenly you're in love too HUH
I read it years ago and since the lists got destroyed...yeah. anyways.
It's about this young gay guy who is a fan of this male model (ML), to the point that his room is covered in posters of this guy. The ML ends up being his neighbor but MC plans to avoid him until stumbling upon another guy trying to attack(?) the ML. (This guy is ML's coworker and even harms MC with knife during a confrontation.) They (MC and ML) essentially become friends but MC tries to keep his distance because he's secretly such a big fan.
ML gets upset about the obvious distance/aversion. He sees MC go home with another guy, hears them fuck, and then confronts MC. They end up getting tg ofc and the ML finds out the whole truth.
I've googled it about twenty different ways, to no avail. Probably because yaoi is so saturated now as a genre lol.
This is manipulation. Whether or not anyone here wants to accept it, that falls under emotional or mental abuse. Not up for a debate, that's fact. We know from the story that "namers" are inevitably drawn to/attracted to each other. So it was bound to happen that they "fall" for each other. And by withholding the information from MC, he's making it out to be something more genuine than it is. Not to mention the lie in general. Relationships (romantic or otherwise) built on lies are realistically doomed to fail. The trust would be gone. Don't even get me started on how entitled ML was when trying to find out if MC was his namer match. The ML has the upper hand here and he knows it and sees nothing wrong. Shit makes me sick. I even enjoy a lot of manga&webtoons that feature dark themes but something about this one is not right. Like it's being treated too lightly idk. It's unlikely but it would be a welcome surprise if MC gets with someone else ultimately. ML has no redeeming qualities at present.
