Tbh only way I can get behind why they think so stubbornly outside of medical reasons is if this is their fear but then I’m just like what if plants mutated like this to become moving thinking PREDATORS creating a new society where nature reigns and humans hide away all while running from being feed for their roots only reason I thought of that concept is through this story because technically the plants can feel pain one of the reasons vegans say meat is murder but same logic would mean plants are murder cause life is life man there’s a food chain for a reason we are omnivorous for a reason it’s to keep everything in check animals should have been able to keep this up with us but modern days are harsh to them and pleasant for us safe from potential predation depending where ya live it’s a lot harder for them to do that to us with our cities and infrastructure now but it’d be far too easy to turn human killer it’s happened often but it’d is a rarity because we are not main prey items but evolved to survive danger which has proved to be a bit of a problem for our future in this world alongside nature because we can’t take more than what has been taken without helping speed along our own mass extinction because this world when it has a species it cannot support and it is becoming invasive earth has its own powers to just wipe the life chain clean and start again or start with the very dust of what survives but genuinely I bet the apocalypse and everything like was derived from what our worlds mass extinctions truly were it’s interesting to think about looking outwards on our universe and imagining different worlds that might be possible I’m saying that cause humans are crazy some do anything when in power and it’s really fucked intelligence is dangerous for a creature that can choose compassion and empathy or apathy and malice I see it in everybody people are flawed that’s fact you work on it and try to evolve to be better those stuck in hate remain malicious and apathetic forever towards mass pain and horrid experiences （/TДT)/
