I know a few where the MC is a bit detached and had feelings and still does but keeps distance and is a bit numb, but tbh they are so awfully executed.. The plot I mean.. It is boring and the same shit all over again. Like the first few chapters are fun to read and then it is just wasted potential... I'm also trying to find such BL.

Idk I think there was some I liked that had the MC feelings get hurt, but it was very short lived. Not really the type of ML yearning that follows happened... ::/

I have nothing exactly like this, but 'define the relationship' is close! mc and ml are in a contract relationship, they both catch feelings, ml fucks up and has to chase the mc before the mc gets married. 'lover boy' and 'gig of the day' might also qualify for this, but gig of the day is ongoing, so idk how good the arc will be. No crybaby tops tho, if want crybaby top with 2nd chance romance, try reading 'the third ending'

Me too, tbh I enjoyed the first 30 to 40 chapters in the novel but then the MC just got stuck and nothing kept moving nor resolved. They keep trying to talk but fail bc they both communicate differently (not at all w words tbh or they express it differently). The ML also is written like a plant, like... he keeps being emotionless and feels like a robot or a very poorly written autistic person.

Is just very sad bc it was refreshing to see such a MC ... :')))
So yeah I'll probably read until the chapter where shit goes stuck and it ain't interesting anymore ... U can do the same and then either daydream an ending for ya self or we can hope sb makes a fanfic of it.

I was rooting for the endless yearning of ML and actually cutting contact w his family bc they harm and hurt MC, hoping for him to do everything bc he loves him. Drop on his knees and beg, and MC staying stern.

Then MC actually giving in and allows a second chance. Their chemistry explodes BC the desire is strong and they finally sharing their deepest feelings and thoughts.
Then MC feels torn, he not fully happy and rather wants to do what is best for himself. He is scared to try this relationship again, alone to marry again for a second time will be a hurdle to overcome.
What if the marriage turns the same again, what if it goes wrong again....what if he loses his style and goals again, gets pushed into a corner and stays unheard in a big house...
The trust is broken and they have been together for long so he knows what a life with the ML looks like, does he really want to dare to do it again?

And the yearning continues, the tension is high and they have to overcome a lot together to see what works for them.

What If they can only be friends and plus, or boyfriends, but never again what they once were..

So yeah ahahha MC keeps saying what bothers him and such but ML always says he cares for him and doesn't want him to walk alone at night or do this and that alone, wants to sponser him, wants to baby trap him so he can be back home...yet he doesn't care for him on an emotional level and he still acts like a robot without any empathy.

So yeah, MC is over-explaining and over-communicating and ML just blends it all out BC his capacity to grasp human emotion is zero.

So like..the conflict is just two very mismatched people being in a marriage... One doesn't understand his partner and wants to be close to him but the other wants emotion and enrichment but is being left in the dark and alone at home....


So that is basically it... And instead of ML listening and changing ... He just makes MC life harder w his choices.

This is giving me: “I want him to be cool and nonchalant” but regretted it and is now struggling to change that narrative.

At this point, maybe if MC is on the verge of death is the only lush that can improve his character.
